I really like this new series you've been doing. So fascinating! You are so respectful of the deceased and I know their families would appreciate it. ❤
What people sometimes forget about Don Knotts is that he had some pretty funny movies also like The Incredible Mr. Limpet ,The Reluctant Astronaut ,and The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
I thought that Don knots was the greatest, and the Andy Griffith show defiantly went downhill after he left. It was nice that he came back to guest star a few times though.
Farrah died in the early morning the same day Michael Jackson died. Michael died a little later that same morning . Because of that Farrah got a small mention and Jackson was all anyone remembered.
I have been to Marilyn’s grave a few times as I worked in Beverly Hills and my workmate was crazy about her and he would take me to visit her on our lunch hour. I was 19 and thought it was very special to be there. She was never without a bouquet of flowers.
Excellent video Lamont. Your sister was cracking me up with her Edith Bunker impersonation. It was spot on! I was waiting for her to bust out “and you knew where you were then!” 😆😂 I’m looking forward to your follow up on Bob Cranium. That man got his wig smashed 😮😬
This was a fun video. Great to see the many famous graves. Don Knotts' grave was my favorite, and your Rodney Dangerfield story and impression was the best!! Thanks for your respect ALWAYS, when you do these videos. Great to have your sister along, as well. ❤️🌷
As hard as death hits us...thank you for sharing Lamont! You've opened our eyes to ALOT and I'll like to thank you for that! Peace & love... Blessings onto you ❤️
Natalie Wood definitely was killed by Robert Wagner! She was terrified of water, her Mom never let her near water or taught her kids to swim because... when the kids were little , a Gypsy woman told Natalies Mom that one of her kids would die in the water. The medical examiner was coaxed to fudge the paperwork on the condition of her body. The CoastGuard actually noted her body was full of bruises, nothing that would coincide with a fall from the boat. Natalie Woods sister is still fighting to bring out the truth AND get Robert Wagner to admit what happened in hopes the family could finally get some peace. 😢 ⭐️One of her Movies I think deserved more praise is ....( my all time favorite😊) THIS PROPERTY IS CONDEMNED starring Natalie Wood & Robert Redford.
Dorothy Hoogstraten who went by Dorothy Straten was a Canadian model and actress. She grew up in metro Vancouver area of British Columbia, Canada. She was first discovered working in a Dairy Queen. She became a Playboy Centerfold quite quickly. There was a really good movie about her made that was called ✨"STAR 80".✨Her husband was a control freak. He couldn't stand the fact that she wanted to break away from him. When he killed her apparently he put a gun in her mouth and said "If I can't have you then I'll make sure no one will have you". She was only 20 years old. I highly suggest watching the movie. It was really good. Rest in Peace Beautiful.
LOVE this video, so personal with your sister, talking about your youth and people you liked back in the day. Your sister's impersonation of Archie's wife is spot on! So detailed, with affection. Thank you.
Everbody remembers where he was when MJJ died. My dad was diagnosticated cancer (he died two years later) the same day. We were at a bar and we made a toast to Michael. Impossible to forget that day.
Abdullah Towfigh was born to Iranian parents in Akron, Ohio. He earned a law degree from USC Law School and worked in Los Angeles at the Paul Hastings law firm. A few weeks after he suddenly became ill he took medical leave and passed away of Leukemia. It sounded like it was a quick illness. His parents along with Paul Hastings created the Abdi Towfigh Fund to Fight Leukemia in his memory.
cindy b that's really cool! I live in Eastern KY and WV is basically home too lol we live right on the border and go over to mingo Co all the time. I have lived in WV few times and have lots of family and friends there. IDK to me KY and WV are both like home lol. The beautiful Appalachian mountains lol. So cool about son knotts I always loved the private eyes 👀 movie growing up. Thought it was so cool they filmed alot of it in the biltmore est. That was bit to far from my aunts place and my mom and grandma loved going there, I hope to visit it soon as well. Did you ever hear any stories about him from that time? Much love 💜
Mrs. EliteNugz no, unfortunately I didn’t and his uncle is passed. Only thing I remember them ever saying was he was sweet but very nervous natured. Thanks for the reply Mrs. Elite so nice too hear from a fellow Appalachian 😊
Dorothy Stratten was from Canada, she came out to California in 1978, was Miss August of '79. 1980 she was playmate of the year. Terrible what happened to her! Very sad. She was cremated and her director boyfriend at the time Peter Bogdanovich bought the plot beside hers. Thank you for sharing everyone's grave site's and wonderful stories! God bless, from Brenda in South Carolina 🙂
I worked in Beverly Hills years ago and my workmate was crazy about Marilyn Monroe. He would gather me up and take me to visit Marilyn’s grave every other week. Many more famous people are buried here since those days. Your sister did a great Edith impression.
Tasha Ms SweetTea S. ~ Did Henry Rollins Ever Have A Problem With Drugs? I Thought He Is Very Much Against Them. At Any Rate.. Rollins Is Still Among The Living.
@@poohbearsauntie Yes Howard Rollins and Hugh O'Connor both had heavy drug problems. Carol tried in vain to help them both, had to get the drug dealers banned from the set, very tragic story.
Just subbed to your channel & I’m addicted to your channel & it’s not even 24 hrs !! Luv your dedication & how respectful you are to each & everyone that has passed !!! Ty for all your videos .. be & stay safe my friend.. blessings from NJ 🥰🙏🏽
Deb Deb Castillo, Dean Martin is one of my most favorite male singers. Everybody Loves Somebody is one of my most favorite songs of his. That was (and still is) one of his biggest smash songs. I always loved it.
He didn’t blame Michael. LOL He was saying the media covered Michael’s death and didn’t cover Farrah’s as much as they would have under normal circumstances.
@@perthaputton1203 he was found innocent on 14 counts and there was no evidence to suggest otherwise at all. Do your research and be kind before you say cruel things. Spread kindness
Woke up thos morning and watched this video. You and your sister did a fantastic job when speaking of the celebrities. My husband is a big Dangerfield fan, we both laughed with your memory of him.
@@MsteeRose, Have you seen the movie, The Out of Towners? Jack Lemon is hilarious. Sandy Dennis plays his wife and the movie you will laugh your head off. You have probably seen, Some like it Hot with Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe. Best movie ever and so dang funny.
During the late 70's when I was in Elementary School, one of the teachers rented the movie "The Apple Dumpling Gang" and that was the first time I saw Don Knotts, Tim Conway, and Bill Bixby in a movie together. There was a part 2 of this movie called "The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again". I enjoyed the sound of the movie projector while watching the movie with the school faculty and staff plus the whole student body. Good memories at a time when there was no cell phones, no internet and people were more helpful. The teacher that rented the movie bought a brand new Red 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, it had T-tops and the 6.6L engine. It had gold pin stripes all over it just like the Smokey and the Bandit Firebird Trans Am. I think he bought it because of that movie, it was so nice and hearing the exhaust note from it. Great memories, will always cherish the moments from yester-year..The Bee Gees and Shawn Cassidy were at their prime along with Kiss, I remember that..👍👌.
Lamont, I've seen quite a few of your videos. Just wanted to tell you that I appreciate how respectful you are to the dearly departed. Keep it up brother!
Because he was a much bigger and famous artist, with a more far-reaching career. She was a style icon and an actress, with her most famous and recognizable role being on "Charlie's Angels". I agree with you that it was unfair, but when it came to fame and career reach, there's no comparison.
@@janetyovonnestuckey4772 Agreed. I was giving some context to why the media gave more attention to Michael. Fancy caskets, headstones and mausoleums don't mean anything in the end: rotting corpses are rotting corpses.
I think it was because Michael’s death was sudden and unexpected and he was only 50 and planning to make a huge comeback. Not saying it was right to over look her though.
Hi Lamont, your sister does a great impression of Edith Bunker by the way. Lol. Fun fact: buried next to Betty page is Allan Melvin, who played Archie Bunker’s friend Barney Hefner in All in the family and later Archie Bunkers place. He’s also remembered for being the voice of Magilla Gorilla.
OMG I love you're sisters "Archie" LMAO 😄😆😅😆 seriously though awesome job! 💪 I love how you're sister made you watch some like it hot growing up, I have always been like that. I *LOVE* Marilyn Monroe and love old Hollywood. This was just great, loved it guys! 💜😊💪💜💪💪💀💪💜
Oscars also snubbed Farrah Fawcett, when they did the memorial. they left her out, but had Jackson in it. Next Oscars, after a lot of pissed off people, they added her.
@@stephaniemccord6100 well you have country music now introducing Rap, and Pop acts in their shows. Certain venues i guess are trying to see if they can get others to watch. Now Jackson, did do a movie = Captain EO for Disney.. Farrah's ending was creepy, she filmed her death. = her last self movie :(
@@LB-pg3no The ratings show people are no longer watching it. People want to be entertained not hit with politics of any kind. For me this ruined the shows, it gets to nasty
Hi Amy. Yes, it is very Dad for Farrah. When Lamont did this video, and went to Visit Farrah Fawcett's grave, they(Cemetery Workers) didn't spate time, or even So Much Care, to put the "Date Farrah was Born", and Date Farrah Fawcett died. Her headstone, with just her name, is odd-looking it doesn't look like the rest if the headstones, where the Top date, is the person's Birthday, & the date on the bottom, is when the person died. But to leave Farrah Fawcett, Rodney Dangerfield, & the few others, that are buried, in that area, with just the concrete Slab, with their names, is very odd!!😕😕
Kevin Townsend I think Bettie Page(Hugh paid for her grave), in her early 30s, was the best looking gal ever. I love Auburn hair girls, and she had the smile, eyes, her body was perfect. she was very ahead of her time. my gf isn't very far off looking, she's taller and thicker, but hair,smile,eyes..I've heard people say it and her going who? lol. next is Nicole Kidman, then my gf,no kidding. my gf said Kidman for sure. Stratten, they say her ex may not have done it, the gun was behind him, there was stuff missing. Bob crane fucked someone's wife.
@@denisberger9657 Mr. Melvin was also on All in the Family & Archie Bunkers Place. I think he played 5 or 6 different characters on the Andy Griffith show. He was a great actor!
That cemetery does sit in a location you would not think it would sit. Also many others in the cemetery: Walter Matthau who isn't far from Jack Lemmon, Eva Gabor, Minnie Riperton, Heather O'Rourke, Dean Martin, Peter Falk and Truman Capote
Thanks so much. You’re commentaries were really informative and interesting. Amazing cemetery. You guys certainly run into some interesting people , just shows everyone has a story to tell.
I met Rodney Dangerfield in the mid 80’s when I was a bank branch manager in Hollywood on Sunset. He came running in wearing a grubby track suit wanting to turn in rolls of pennies for a few dollars!
Lamont I ABSOLUTELY LOVE watching your short films videos or stories what ever they call them. I remember watching you when you was first starting out and sleeping in your car. But my GOD how you fiund your place in the wotld and what a Wonderful job you do with the graves of people rich poor young or old. You are very respectful to their eternal resting spot. Thank you for doung this for people like me that are interested but dont have the means to travel. May God keep you safe in your endeavors. P.S. If you ever get to Baltimore MD look up some of our cemeteries. Thanks Sandy
I love your videos. As a person who grew up in Illinois, please remember the "s" is silent. I loved a Jack Lemmon movie entitled "Under the Yum Yum Tree". It also starred Carol Lynley. My dad took us to see it in a Drive-in movie. It was so funny.
I too grew up in Illinois and I noticed how he said Illinois pronouncing the "s". It always drives me crazy when I hear people pronounce it that way lol.
Really liked this video! I love lots of the people you visited. I look forward to your videos, I go hit play as soon as I see a new one 😀 Hi to your sister👋
A well put together and informative video from you and your sister Lamont..very interesting stuff about famous household names..thanks for showing this 😎
I wanted to comment on Prinz, I know it sounds odd but you don't know how it feels to not have real parents if you've always had them. He wanted to belong and they were loving enough to give him what he never had......" To belong to somebody."
