The HIDDEN DETAILS in the Bells Hells animated intro 👀 | Luboffin 

Pinnng this here but SPOILER WARNING! I thought it was pretty obvious that a breakdown of all the details would include spoilers but some people have gotten upset. Also I know. I missed a bunch of things - it's so fun seeing what else everyone picked up! Thankyou for sharing them in the comments!

I'm still heartbroken over Will and Derrig turning into petals on the words 'two by two we fall'

I thinkthis figure is Captain Xandis. They were described as a grey-skinned Tiefling. You can see their curled horns in the opening.

So much detail, I love it: --- While falling, Orym catches Chetney's hat, Fearne wildshape and flies with Ashton, Imogen casting Fly on FCG who then sees Orym and flies his way --- Orym reacts first to the Feywild flowers, then Fearne's reaction being more of embarrassment than shock/fear --- Orym and Fearne spooning (I think this is Orym's idea lol) --- Fearne stealing a chain from Ashton while they are all hugging FCG, and Orym notices it --- Mister has a GUN! 🤣 --- FCG absorbing damage that Ashton took before using his Grappling hook

Not exactly an Easter egg, but I loved that Mister is depicted using his gun.

One little egg you missed : during FCG's post-freakout group hug, you can see on a table in the background their unfinished emotion wheel that Chetney is making for them

I love that Ashton grabs Laudna and throws her to Imogen so she can cast featherfall on them while Imogen focuses on fly 🥰

One of the thing that u missed is Fearne pickpocketing ashton while theyre hugging FCG😅

One more small Easter egg - in the end of FCG's red eye shot, we see Ashton comming to them, both because they're in there in the reflection in the intro, and because they were the one who originally found FCG.

The wide shot of them in front of the Malleus Keys at the end shows the characters standing in the same position the players are sitting at the table, something they did in the M9 intro too.

Here's some more details - In Orym's scene with Will and Derrig, the lyrics of the song say "Two by two, we fall"

-The lyrics " two by two we fall" hit right when will and darrig vanish in cherry petals! -"and roar" when Chettney poses in wolf form - from the healer, to the renegade shows rampage fcg

Seeing this new intro just makes me realize how much time has passed since the beginning of the campaign :'( I DON'T WANT IT TO ENDDD

Orym's fighting of the echos looks like it's pretty simple but the strikes are actually timed to the drum beats with the strike on his shield being one that sounds like a cymbal. Then the two strikes with Otahan are on the big finale beats. Super satisfying!

At 6:30 you can also see FCG use his Transfer Suffering to take the damage that ashton took to his arm

6:20 I love the shot that shows Mister not only firing the gun, but holding it sideways, proper gangster style :D

This was so fast, and so dang good! The red figure is Captain Xandis, and the portal is specifically Artagan's Gate that VM made for Artagan to come to Exandria! That's why Fearne coming into Exandria is the first character moment we see. At 3:47 in your video, Fearne pickpockets a pouch off of Ashton and then pickpockets a bracelet or necklace off of Ashton when hugging FCG (that split second happens right after where you cut away at 5:32)! Fun fact: This is the first time the official art has ever show Orym's scabbard and shield. (Even if it's a simplified version for animation and not as detailed.)

This one, like the past one from MN, gave me chills. Absolutely loved the work they did on this. I practically squealed when i saw the nods to Imogene and Laudna's relationship

Two minor details - Fearne Pickpockets Ashton during the shot of them hugging FCG after his murder bot mode - and in the shot where Fearne swings Mister around in his fire form, Mister is firing his gun!

One detail that I noticed was that when Laudna is changing into her form of dread at 7:05, she has a red spider lily in her hair. The red spider lily has the meaning of death and rebirth, which completely fits with Laudna's character arc.

The flowers in the Feywild is so funny, because you have everyone else screaming, but Fearne has the look of “oops, I forgot about these. My bad…”

Some fun things I noted that I haven't seen mentioned in any other comments so far: At 3:48 there are so many little things happening during the "falling off the airship" scene, 1. Chetney is the only one who manages not to fall off the airship, though his hat does fall off (which someone else pointed out Orym catches for him) 2. Ashton catches Laudna as they're falling (which meant they didn't have a hand free to even try to stop their own fall) and physically throws her to Imogen before being caught by Fearne. 3. Imogen twin casts Fly on herself and FCG (you can tell she also cast it on herself due to the way her momentum shifts to catch Laudna, she was falling backwards originally and then suddenly stops and shoots forward when she finishes casting). 4. FCG dives to catch Orym after Imogen casts Fly on them. At 5:52 when he's transforming, Chet removes his hat, which is funny since it's the article of clothing he's wearing that's least likely to be effected by his transformation. This has already been mentioned but I love it so I'll repeat it. At 6:15 when Mister's riding on Fearne's staff, he's holding and firing the gun that the Hells got him. At 7:28 when Orym is stumbling back from Otohan's attack, Ashton and FCG catch him and keep him on his feet. This is a general note, but throughout the intro, Fearne has the strange, black clawed left hand that she does in her official art. Laudna on the other hand (heh) does not have her clawed hands like we see in the official art throughout, only while she's transformed into her Form of Dread. Another one that happens throughout, but Ashton's head injury glows different colors depending on what's happening/what ability he's using (it's opalescent on the airship, purple while sleeping under the Sun Tree, it rapidly changes from red to purple to blue starting at 6:29, and it's purple again during the rage jump at 6:45 and the final pose).

In the Bassuras fight, Ashton gets hurt on their arm and FCG uses their shared suffering ability.

I would say if you pay attention to the lyrics, and the timing of what's happening that there is another layer to dissect there. It's so good!

I totally missed Laudna being puppeted by Delilah! SUCH a cool catch!

In the fight in the feywild, the moment after Chetney does a flip over the vine, he's posing in an attempt to show off for Fearne, only to then immediately get slammed by another vine the moment he closes his eyes.

Fearne pickpockets Ashton TWICE in this intro! Once in the Skyship and then in the room while everyone is hugging FCG. And Orym is the one that notices. :) I also LOVE how the impact frame when Ashton lands with his hammer is the fractured pattern in his head!

The intro also symbolize the sequence of introduction into the campaign by first showing the two characters from EXU: Fearne and Orym

The scene on the skyship, for just a moment, you can see Fearne pickpocketed something from Ashton. During the FCG scene, on the side table/drawers you can see the incomplete emotion wheel.

Two things I personally love that weren't mentioned: 1. Mister is using the poop gun 2. Fearne pickpockets Ashton while they all hug FCG 😂

Something I just noticed is Orym's outfit change at the start. He's just in basic shirt/pants, then when the shot shifts to a closeup, he's in his full armour. Another thing worth pointing out is that the group shot at the end - the characters are all in the same order the players are sat at the table =D

there are also at least 2 scenes of fearne pickpocketing ashton since they have that little game in the show, the first time I could see was when they were falling off the skyship, she has something in a pouch that she sneaks away, and then when they;re group hugging fcg she does the same thing

I never noticed that it looks like Fearne is holding on to Launda's leg when they're sleeping under the sun tree (Fearnes hand disappears under the blanket where Laudna' legs would be) my heart!

6:13 I didn't notice it originally but as you slowed it down, Mister actually has his gun as well which looks very cool on the the flaming monkey. :D

-While falling off the skyship, not only does Fearne catch Ashton, but Ashton throws Laudna to Imogen, and Imogen casts Fly on FCG, who then flies after Orym. Theres a lot going on in the shot but it's all Bell's Hells members supporting each other and i love it ❤ -You didnt mention lyrics at all, but there's several parts where the lyrics match the visuals. For example, when Orym's family fades, the lyrics are saying "Two by two we fall," and during Chetney's woodcarving, the lyrics say "Finding more allies," since he was the last member to join (for obvious reasons)

I feel like in the scene where everybody hugs FCG, behind Chetney, there are some wooden objects that are the pieces of the emotion-wheel Chetney made for FCG. I think it makes a lot of sense that it's added there. I love how there're so many little details, like the red dot inside Imogen's eye right before the transition to Ashton. There's probably even more than can be seen! It's just really awesome!!!

I actually loved seeing this intro and honestly my favourite part is actually seeing Laudna's Form of Dread animated because every time Marisha explained it all i could think about was how cool it would look fully animated.

You missed that when they fall from the sky ship, chetney loses his hat only for Orym to catch it with his insane dexterity

I enjoyed how the animation matched up with the music. During Laudna’s for of dread transformation the music says “from darkness” and as it says “our friendship will rise” Imogen begins floating up.

Watched the video multiple times and every time I was so focused on Will I never saw Derrick in the scene. Holy crap I love this intro! Incredible song and now a video to match.

some small details missed (or at the least not mentioned): - I think it was Captain Xandis as opposed to Ratanish - The Fracture pattern looks a lot like the hole in Ashton's head - Fearne pickpocketing Ashton whenever they were next to each other - FCG's "Transfer Suffering" ability being shown off as Ashton takes a shot to the arm And, THE MOST IMPORTANT easter egg - Mister wielding his gun given to him from Percy xD lol

4:06 what i love about the "falling off a skyship" scene is that everyone has their own unique method of recovery and helping one another. Chetney manages to grab the ledge at the last second and never falls, though he looses his hat Fearne turns into a bird and rescues Ashton Ashton not only gets rescued by Fearne but ALSO grabs Laudna and throws her towards Imogen FCG just casts fly on himself, and while we don't see it on-screen, it's safe to say he catches Orym as the two are heading towards one another at the very end before the scene transitions Orym manages to catch Chetney's hat and holds onto it for the whole shot And of course Imogen catches Laudna and then kind of just transitions to the next scene. Presumibly casing fly on herself and Laudna at some point. I had to watch that scene like ten or more times just to catch every detail, i love that they used multiple different methods of recovery rather then just one.

Great video and breakdown! Some more details others may have already noted, but one's I think are special or fun: Orym's family turns into petals on the line "two by two we fall" As the group falls from the ship, Fearne picks Ashton's pocket, and tucks the (coin)bag or small purse away. Others have commented on how the group use their abilities to save each other. Chetney staying on the ship represents a successful save, though it may have been Ashton who actually made the save to not fall. In the background of the FCG-calming scene, Fearne picks Ashton's pocket again, Orym notices, and there's also Chetney's work from FCG's mood circle in the background. FCG heals Ashton in the next scene and takes some damage to himself.

I'm glad they included Fearne's black hand, I feel like that is a detail commonly overlooked or forgotten

THANK YOU FOR THIS! The animation goes SO fast, it's so hard to miss the details. Some things that I didn't see until you mentioned them in this video: - Derrig in the background of Orym's shot! I was too busy focusing on Will and my eyes were blurry, dunno why XD - The lightning flash to Delilah puppeting Launda. That's incredible and it's such a blink and you'll miss it thing. - Mister! Firing a gun! I was wondering where he was! - The ley lines in the last shot! So pretty!

Another detail: when they're comforting FCG, while they are all gathered round, Fearne pickpockets Ashton, and Orym (ridiculous passive perception) notices.

I missed the NPCs on the 'table' and I missed that that was Bertrand Bell. I too, though, saw Wil and Derig and just started sobbing. I also missed the quick shot of Laudna being puppeted, so thank you for pointing that out!

6:20 I LOVE how you can see Mister pointing his little gun that he got in this frame :))))))

when they fall off the sky ship, ashton is holding onto laudna and they swing her forwards into imogen to be saved. i truly love this detail

In the brief moment we see Mister after the fiery teleport he's actually holding his gun

The scene with Will and Orem had me in tears.

You missed when Ladyna went to her tree form of dread that she had a spider lily in her hair which represents 'sad memories and loss of a loved one', which works well with her. Speaking of flowers, the ones on Ferrn makesme think of morning glories which oddly represent 'love that was never returned' or 'undying love' which could be a gesture towards growing up without her parents or her feelings towards other party members. The cherry blossoms for Orym is also facinating since they have a duality to their meaning of 'life and death, beauty and violence' which seems to hint the duality of him. Those are the only flower language hints that I've noticed but thought I would share.

Great breakdown, thanks for this. And I, too, am amazed at how quickly you put this video out. I think it is really interesting how, instead of using the same introductory sequence for the whole campaign, the intros for CR evolve as the campaigns go on. C3 started with a very generic introduction, but each new intro includes more references to the actual characters and their stories. This one was actually very poignant in the way that it captured so many of the key moments from the backstories and the campaign so far.

One of my favorite things is when Orym turns as Will and Derrig fade away and suddenly he has tattoos on his arm that weren't there before.

Few things I noticed: 1. Imogen casts fly on FCG in the travel sequence so he can grab Orym 2. When FCG is being hugged you can see his emotion board half made in the background 2.5 Same scene Ferne is stealing the giant earring from Ashton. 3. Mister has his tiny pistol and is firing at the plants (so cute) 4. The flower in Laudna's hair is a spider lily which represents death 5. When Orym is fighting the echos his last swing produce cherry blossom petals (I think this is the gust/extention for the sword). 6. The number of slashes/markings on FCG's chest changes multiple times. 7. Ashton's rings appear and disappear depending on the scene.

The plant fight with the brief shot of the ruins, I believe, is the one they fought in the jungle. The one with the 'fairy' appendage, like an anglerfish. =D

In the action shots you can also see that Mister has his gun that they got from Percy

Super minor thing, Aston's rage shown was his red/blue shift rage. I think it is time or probability but haven't written down all the things each effect does.

Love that chet takes his knit cap off so he doesn't ruin it.

In the very first scene with Fearne, she doesn't have the ribbon on her horn, but in all the rest she has it. Ashton throws Laudna to Imogen when they're falling from the skyship right before Fearne picks him up in bird form. Imogen's left eye flashes red in the very last image of her falling after running from the storm. Ashton's left is a dull red when he hits the ground. Red is also the last color that sparks out in the his crystal head wound when they're on the airship. FCG's eyes are red when he's in murder boting and Ashton is the only/first person who is reflected in his eye before it pans out to the group, maybe indicating Ashton being the first person he met? Chetney's eyes are red as a werewolf. The spooning of Orym and Fearne is def a reference to Little Moon, Big Moon/Orym's tattoo.

Couple of things I noticed. Fearne pickpockets Ashton like 3 times in it. And they have Orym mimic the same sword move that Liam does in the show a lot at the end of the song. I thought that one was really cool.
