Hope you enjoyed this ACTION-PACKED vlog. We can't believe how much we all did in a couple days 😅 So what do you think... would you go in the caves with just a candle??
Is that the same cave tour we did or a different one? I thought it was different but the jumping into the darkness at the end sounded familiar. Great video! I love watching them :)
@@ms.trotter3327 it was the same! But we were commenting on how different it was too. The water must progressively change the tunnels. Because last time we slide down a rock/waterfall slide and this time we went through that crazy hole. Other parts were the exact same though :)
I love your videos guys! Before these Guatemala series of videos I got such a different impression of Guatemala and I am glad you share your experience. it actually makes me think 💭 of Guatemala as a future destination! ☺️ Good vibes 🤗🤗
Great video! I was at Semuc Champey last year and stayed at Hostal el portal 3 days near the entrance of Semuc Champey. I would walk right in and pay the entry fee. What an amazing place!
Thank you for filming and showing this, especially the cave with the candles. I did this trip in 2005 and went into the cave being a little afraid, but the guide took me "under his wings" and showed me how to do things. He went and swam first and I was second. When you come to the end you have to turn around and go back and then I ended up being one of the last, only one person behind me. When we came to the hole to jump through I chickened out and wanted to take the safe climbing route. I said that to the last person and he passed me and went through the hole. At that exact moment my candle went out and I was alone in pitch dark with no way to light my candle again. But I was convinced that the guide would knew that I wanted to take the climbing route and that he would come for me. After some minutes in the dark I could see a candle light from on top of the ladder. It was the guide coming for me. So I climbed the ladder and shortly after that I rejoined the group and we exited the cave.
Love my Guatemala 🇬🇹❤️ Thank you for sharing great content about my beautiful country! The editing you guys did is just awesome! And the scenic views are gorgeous. Thank you! 🤗
How beautiful Guatelamala seemed in your video. Bad me for not wanting to recognize this before. This video was terrific, however, I did see the limitations in how one must be physically capable of doing it. When I saw Sarah going down those steps, I thought --not for me with two new hips.... This is an amazing trip for the young, and capable. Now, the dark caves?---no Sir! Child, your have to be insane to dive in the dark into what you hope to be water....and earlier, with the baby piranhas, just think their large parents were just down the stream?? I know, I watched too many bad movies.
Wow that was great video I really like I haven’t been to Guatemala I heard that it’s a great family vacation I really like it one thing like about it is that you guys made chocolate it looks delicious I really enjoy it.
Wow loved this video of my beautiful country Guatemala..I've never been In Shemuc but its definitely in my bucket list. When I go back home..Cheers from CanadaYYC..🇨🇦😍🇬🇹. Craving Gallo..🍻
I had the pleasure to meet these guys at Utopia Eco Lodge in Lanquin. Soooo sweet people. Thank you for your vlogs and enjoy your further travels. All the best, Chriss (with two s)
I think this may be one of the most beautiful places you have shown. We moved to Ecuador in July, a 4-year plan reduced to less than 1 1/2, and can say we are so happy with our decision but this is just incredible. No regrets but this video showcased a whole lot of amazing.
OMG, I had no idea that a place like that existed! That was amazing. I'm going to Antigua for a week in Feb, but I am going to have to make some additional trips to Guatemala it looks like to see more. Was that water cold that you were swimming and tubing in? It looked amazing, the color.. wow.
Exciting! It’s definitely worth the trip (if you can handle a long bus ride!) The pool water was cool when in the shade but PERFECT as the days are warm there. The tubing water was definitely colder as it was flowing but also very nice with the sun out!
Crazy!! We did the same caves.. and jumping off the ledge in the dark was definitely intimidating haha. Didn’t look like you guys were too keen on doing that rock slide again 😂
Mucha vegetación, bonitas vistas y la comida incluyendo chocolate yum, yum. God bless. Greetings from California. Departe de un Chapin. Me gustan sus videos.
Excellent video of the natural way to express, without appearance. beautiful scenery, no doubt. Lots of diversity in Guatemala. Congratulations guys, from North Carolina
You captured the caves well. So much fun....I was handicapped by too tight cut offs, slippery shoes and glasses that I nearly lost. Stay at Zephyr Lodge. Great place; infinity pool on top of hill; lots of Euro totty; drone up at night.........
Wow this place is beautiful! I wish I’d had the chance to travel there when I was in Guatemala! Unfortunately I only had a week in Guatemala as it was right at the end of my trip. Definitely can’t wait to go back and visit more places there! 🇬🇹

Your adventure for me through a monitor has been very fun and intriguing at the same time, thank you very much for the video that shows us that there are wonderful places on the planet to enjoy and care for future generations, thank you and a big greeting from Australia. Anthony Ruiz
Saludos y bendiciones.

Thanks for sharing. Is so rich and beautiful the United Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and that extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources too bad for almost a century big foreign anglosaxon multinational corporations have been taking almost everything. Long live Juan Santamaria the heroe of Costa Rica who died in battle against the anglo pirates. The Malvinas belong to Argentina, The Esequibo belongs to Venezuela and Belice belongs to Guatemala. Guatemala exploited and sabotaged for almost a century but never gives up. God bless
