Here's something that's increasing in popularity.
Have you guys ever heard of the Green River Gorge? What about the Franklin Ghost Town?
These two are places where you should go to get the most out of your Washington experience.
Located in Black Diamond, Washington, these spots are hidden gems known by the locals. But the cat's out of the bag and here's your chance to explore it.
There are two parts to this hike. First, enter the gate on the left side of the parking lot for Franklin Ghost Town. Follow the stairs and eventually, you'll reach the river bank. Be careful here. The water is swift and you could get swept away. But the views are absolutely stunning.
After enjoying being next to the water, I recommend you exit out and go to the parking lot. Leave the parking lot and go to the right until you see the Green River Gorge Resort. Pay the $5 fee and enter the gates. Go down and eventually you can go underneath a waterfall! It's absolutely amazing and I recommend everyone to go here.
At the end, there's another beautiful waterfall. Enjoy this one, guys. It's a good one.

Wow, WA is really beautiful. I've been living here almost 22 years, but this is the first time I know Green River Gorge in Black Diamond, that's about 30 miles from where I live. Thanks a lot for sharing your video.

I didn't know the Carter family had opened the trails to the public, they're usually gated/locked off, except for the duck pond park across the road. Jim, the owner, put a huge amount of effort in making those trails and stairs, people should definitely pay for access, it's definitely worth it, lots of effort to maintain access. The cave behind the waterfall used to be a private area for the family too, so it's nice to see them open it all up to the public, even if it's not being run as a resort anymore (the green building is an underwater salvage business, I used to work there). It was a fun place to hang out as a kid, like a little slice of Yosemite in my back yard with all of the toppled rock formations and sheer cliff faces. When the water is deep it is a fun place to go cliff diving, lot of little cliffs to work up to Kong and some of the other 30+ foot cliff sites, experienced divers only of course, people hurt themselves a lot down there and it's one of the reasons it was an invite-only trail for a long time.

What a beautiful place to visit as a solitary spot for self-contemplation and quite enjoyable sight seeing, but will I ever be fated to actually be in this place In The FLESH? What a special Question for anyone to ASK, my name being peculiarly Initialed A.S.K. : Albert Stephen Kundrat!

Please stop ruining these "hidden gems." This is how we get thousands of pounds of trash in these spots. Stop giving the world directions to some of the last "secret spots"
