It was the Secret Service's responsibility, but Local law enforcement covered that area; he was on the backside of the roof, where the Secret Service couldn't see. The Secret Service always works with State and local law enforcement, who take responsibility for specific areas. The Secret Service is like a conductor: They oversee everything, but they always need to rely on the locals. Unfortunately, local law enforcement didn't do their job. Wait until and see what the investigation shows. There is plenty of blame to go around.

Lots of unanswered questions. Why was that roof not secured when there were only a few roofs there? Why did the Secret Service reportedly ignore attendees who told them that they saw a man going on the roof with a rifle? Why would the shooter be wearing a contrasting color - black - to the roof - white - which made it easy to see him? Did the shooter have a lot of experience with guns, and with reportedly six shots fired, was it is surprising that the former President was missed/grazed/hit (I'm not sure which, because...)? Why have there been little as to the medical situation of the former President, who appeared to slap his ear, as if bit by a mosquito, then a lot of "blood" appeared on his face? Was he hit by the bullet, grazed, or ? How did the former President have the wherewithal to fist pump after he had been shot? Why was the former President concerned about getting his shoes on, how did they come off, why did the Secret Service let him put them back on? Compare this to, say, when President Reagan was shot, he was in the limo within a few seconds. Same for others.

I heard on the David Pakman show yesterday that the pew pew kid did not donate to Act Blue as was reported. Because apparently at the time of the donation he would’ve been under 18 and they don’t accept donations from anybody under 18. Pakman said that it is suggested that the donation was from another person with the same name, an older gentleman.
Snopes looked into this and found the older Crooks fellow. They concluded that the ActBlue donation came from the shooter. Doesn't make sense, I know...

Incorrect. He was using anAR 15 with NATO 556 rounds. The general effective range is 400 yards. With tremendous inaccuracy the bullet coming out of this platform Will be lethal up to 3000 yards. The distance from his perch to the platform on which dJT stood is roughly 150 yards. The gun range that he practiced at has a rifle range of 200 yards. So this kid and his dad could've definitely practiced their long rifles out to 200 yards. Most people practice in 100 yards. It all kind of depends on how far you wanna walk down range to see your results when the range master allows people onto the field. This gun Club is known to enforce their version of FUDD rules. What is that? It usually means a range that has a series of requirements for you to join and use their facility. FUDD acronym is a derogatory term that a lot of shooting sport participants consider too strict, to walk, etc. Some ranges can be really strict like your target Has to have your guns serial number on it written. Some don't allow you to pick up your own brass. Some don't allow you to talk to your friend who’s on the bench next to you about your target results when you are down range during cease-fire. It varies widely. Most decent ranges are very concerned about gun safety. Not all people who practiced their second amendment rights are into gun safety. On the side, his gun range that he and his dad went to is also known to be a rather Beautiful place. Because of the foliage and grounds and location. Most people pick gun ranges that are not difficult to travel frequently to. So sometimes you just end up at a range that is very strict because you just don't want to drive hundreds of miles to a less strict range. Personally I prefer arrange that is strict when it comes to A lineup of shooters who are all positioned within 2 feet of each other. It just makes more sense. There are a lot of people who are very lax with how they handle firearms. Such as muzzle control. Which means keep your damn muzzle down range. I've had novice shooters that I have been training swing their pistol muzzle all the way around towards me and other people behind them as they ask questions about the firearm or what they're doing etc. They don't do that more than once with me I tell you that. That's why when I am training somebody I don't allow them to load the firearm until the are more confident and I can tell that they are paying attention and understand the potential lethality of what they are handling. Not all people Will handle firearms safely. Hence why there are what are called firearm accidents throughout this country every single day. There are no such things as firearm accidents. Unwanted firearm discharges are due to stupidity and ignorance. Anyways A.R. 15s with 556 rounds are accurate up to 400 yards when aiming at human size target. Most snipers do not aim for the head because it's small and subject to quick change after you have released the bullet. Most times they aim for Center mass because there is plenty of vital organs that can be damaged considerably. However it is highly likely that during any rally presidential wannabes are actually wearing bulletproof vests. That's an educated guess on my part. It may completely depend on the venue or size audience etc.. It may depend on the willingness of the subject to wear such a thing which generally is not all that comfortable especially when you have Hot spot lights heating up your body. Those vests are usually able to stop pistol rounds. And when the round hits that armor the person wearing the armor is not going to feel very good. And typically gets knocked down and has the wind knocked out of them. And they will have considerable bruising and be sore for weeks or months. But alive. However such vests are not great with rifle rounds that are exiting the muzzle at 3200 feet per second. Pistol rounds like 9 mm and such, typical loads (aka quantity and type of powder), leave the muzzle at sub 1100 ft./s. 556 will reach a target at 200 yards traveling 2100 ft./s and will render most vests relatively useless. It should be noted that the young fireman who died, his skull wasn’t exactly intact. I don’t wanna get gross here. The 556 round is known to tumble considerably after it has penetrated the meat of its target. This tumble spreads the kinetic energy through the body parts and can cause a lot of damage. The reason the military uses 556 rounds is because of a standard, the kick is minimal considering the muzzle velocity, the rounds in the magazine are not heavy to carry and the round is reasonably accurate out to 400 yards. Most engagements are typically within 200 yards with the vast majority being within 25 - 100 yards. In such engagements down range fire is usually being used as suppressive bullets. Meaning if they hit an enemy, good. But it's more important to keep the enemies head down while your team maneuvers to engage the enemy with effective and typically closer or more accurate/lethal fire power. Or if necessary disengage from the enemy and suppressing their ability to follow you. So these rumors that an AR 15 is not accurate within 200 yards is incorrect. Now the environment that the shooter was in as to weather and Wind can definitely affect accuracy of any rifle bullet. Temperature can affect accuracy the wind can affect the accuracy the moisture content can affect the accuracy. How well the rifle is zeroed can definitely affect accuracy. He was using iron sites from what I've gathered, meaning no scope, and you can still be accurate up to 200 yards. But you'll be more accurate with a scope. The problem with scopes is that they limit your Field of view especially if you close one eye. So if your target moves out of this limited Field of view of your scope you have to reacquire the target without using the scope. That's why it's better to shoot with both eyes open which takes a lot of practice typically. This is one reason sniper teams are generally two people. One is the spotter and the other is the shooter. The Secret Service used this type of sniping when they engaged and terminated this shooter.

What I want to know is why AG Garland didn't investigate Trump immediately after he took office. As I see it, by right of law, we should not be here with a previous President who attempted a coup (with help by close associates, including members of Congress), running to reclaim that Office-now granted close to absolute immunity. I find this whole situation unacceptable and incomprehensible. But here we are. Not happy about it at all. Frankly, I feel the DOJ and Garland in particular owe the American people at least some kind of explanation for what seems to me an egregious failure.

@bjdefilippo447 was an unsecured roof with obvious line of sight at a range that was equal or less distance to previous assassinations. There was not a lot of other positions that could of been used by a person for that purpose. The roof he used was so obvious that not only would a kid In middle school wanting to be on such type of security detail would spot it. But rally goers spotted him.well before the shooting started. The length of time I've heard has varried between 2 and 5 minutes. Yet no action was taken when there was found to be people in place that could have stopped him if had wanted to before he started shooting in that time frame

Maybe it's not so much a question of him waiting, as it is of trump's team delaying, delaying, delaying. I am not sure whether it is the NY election interference case or the Mar-A-Lardo documents case (or maybe even both), that could have been over and done with years ago, had it not been for that delaying tactic.

Trump said..."I felt the bullet go into my skin", I mean a good actor would say that. How many seasons did the Apprentice last. You don't do that many shows without learning a thing or two about acting. I believe we are part of the biggest con in modern history. And there is nothing unfortunately that we can do about it. My condolences to the victims of the shooting and their families. Not once has Trump shown empathy for the victims of the shooting. He is only concerned with himself. People have lost their lives and I have not seen any respect from his side. The victims were there for him.

They also report Ex-President trump did not contact her. Assuming the reporting is correct , this seems to speak volumes for the divisive nature of American society.

The Washington Times was reporting on Monday , confirmation from Mrs Comporatore that she had yet to be contacted by ex-President Trump . I think (given the circumstances) it is perfectly reasonable that he was not able to do so immediately.

Well he claims the FBI were gunning for him at Mar A Lardo and he wants to defund them. Maybe they thought letting a ticked off kid have a shot at preventing an American dictatorship was fair.
