@@nathanrogers1793Lebron had his high school hames televised on ESPN. They definitely got paid big for that. I'm surprised his GPA dropped instead of rounding up to 4.0
That’s actually crazy impressive. Even gpas all the way up to a 4.0 is easy bc high school is not that hard and you can take the bare minimum level classes needed to graduate and earn an A in them. But to have 4.5 you must have been taking AP classes, like a lot of AP classes, and excelling in them. Not even some elite students that go to the most prestigious schools get that kinda gpa. He must have been really smart and also put in the work in academics
@@randomperson4975 depends on the teachers you have and the effort level you put in. There are definitely those classes that are difficult, but for most as long as you do the homework and do well on tests after studying for a couple nights it becomes much easier.
Same with college gpas tbh. It's much more a metric of the effort you're willing to put in. The effort required may not be the same for everyone but most people could do a 3.5 in college if they put the energy into it. Had friends who thought they were "dumb" but just slacked off too much, 1 in particular went back to school later and was top in his program cause he learned discipline
Imagine being McGee in high school. He was only an average joe in the NBA. He was valedictorian caliber academically, 7 ft/good looking, and probably the best hooper his school had ever seen. Crazy.
@@dominicgaming7910It doesn’t if you’re an idiot. You’re high school gpa let’s us know how hard you’re willing to work. That 1.8 gpa didn’t get any better in college either. Ben been lazy
Well having a high gpa don’t mean you don’t think your being lied to. And that all it take to believe that. Man believes the pictures and videos are faked. The only way to change he’s mind is to prove they aren’t. What does believing your being lied to have to do with GPA? Answer: It don’t got anything to do with it.
You see. Gpa kind does equate to how hard you work in any Field. If you do something you don’t wanna do good imagine how you do when u do something you love.
Javale definitely got that ADHD - can prob write a damn good essay and come up with great project ideas, but can’t focus for more than ten seconds at a time hence the Shaqtin
You might hate hearing this since you yourself don't even know why you think the Earth is spherical, but thinking the Earth is flat doesn't mean you're completely retarded. It has more to do with upbringing
I know a lot of athletes with brains… I also know a lot of athletes that were given decent grades so all the GPAs being nearly identical makes a lot of sense.
It's 4.0, but some public high schools (public secondary schools) weigh certain classes more (specifically Honors or AP courses) by applying a curve, which makes it possible to achieve greater than 4.0 if you attend the right school. That's usually not the case in private schools. In university, the highest you can achieve is 4.0. Good question
In the inner city you get a 3.5 GPA just for being able to write your name. I’m a teacher in Baltimore and have seen it firsthand countless times. Don’t take the figures at face value.
@@Corb13someone in my school had a 7. And teachers would always talk about him but he graduated a long time ago so the education system might have been outdated back then but I also thought the max gpa would be 4.0
Crazy how Javale McGee always kinda had a stigma for being dumb based on the Shaqtin a Fool stuff when if you watch a lot of that it’s more clear that he made a lot of hustle plays and used too much of his strength / athleticism for his own good in the moment 😂 really it just shows how hard his work ethic was on the court and that translates to his pre-NBA off the court behavior
The players that got good grades were Fr smart. If they didn’t make the league they were def gonna succeed in school. Was surprised westbrooks gpa was so high at first, but then remembered dude is actually pretty business savvy
