It’s funny. I was a dyed-in-the-wool METAL fan (still am!) and to admit that I like the Bangles, would have earned me non-stop mockery. But, here I am, decades later, singing the songs word-for-word. Like so many others, there is a HUGE soft spot for the 80’s, as there has simply been *nothing* like that decade, either before, nor since. What a beautiful time to be young!!

me too, it's funny how that happened. The music was all around us so we know all the songs. But...I don't max the volume like I do when thunderstruck comes on.

I hate that Mickey is essentially retired… but at the very least, we got to see a true reunion with her back in the early 2000’s. To be honest, just so long as Vicki, Debbie and Susanna are there… the original 3, along with Annette!!! This is fine to me.

When I was a younger sys gen male 😆 Anyway while learning to play I was inspired by many. Some known many unknown other to their local following. I freely admit this was a known band that inspired me.

I still remember we were all heated up! I'm sure they'll have a tour this year again as they're getting more active. Let's hope they come to NYC this year! The Bangles' bass player's name is Derrick Anderson. He's been their bassist since 2008. But you won't see him in any promotional photos of the band. And it seems they keep him in the back and unlit whenever possible. Much like The Rolling Stones treat Daryl Jones, their bassist since 1993.
