Im a hoosier and live about a half hour from david. Great guy and puts on an amazing shoot. I mainly shoot with quivers on my bows but wouldn't hesitate to buy one of these if i was in the market
Been using this quiver for about a month. Very nice quiver! I made a slight modification to it. The arrows would get snagged to the inside of the quiver pocket when I inserted them back inside the quiver. Solution: I heated up a 3"X 7.5" black PVC pipe in the oven and flatten it out a little and riveted it to the inside of the main quiver pocket. Worked perfect ly! No more arrow snags! Now I can I can insert my arrows back inside the quiver pocket without them getting snagged! I also lined the top inside portion of the PVC insert with a piece of foam installation adhesive to keep the arrows from rattling around . Whisky City does sell a plastic tube insert, but I think my flatten PVC works better.
Last week I saw several Archers at the Bodkin Archery 3D comp wearing a new style of hip quiver. As soon as I saw it I knew it had to be a huge improvement over all the other Quivers that swing about all over the place catching on foliage and banging your leg . Try as I might I couldn't find out what they were called until I saw your review today. Now all I have to do is find someone in the UK that is importing them ....
I got one question. There's that biggest zippered pocket on the very top. Can you fit a generic 2-liter hydration pack in there? Not sure what to do with the drinking hose though. Maybe you can clip it on the belt.
