THE HIRING CHAIN performed by STING | World Down Syndrome Day 2021 

As a father of a working young adult with Down Sindrome, I thanks everyone that's giving opportunity to them to show the world that they are capable of great things. Thank you all!

Even if they've never liked Sting much, the people who've disliked this should take a long look at themselves. As a father to an autistic teenager who is desperate to get some work experience, but also massively anxious about how they might cope in (noisy, busy) working environments, this film hit me hard. It's so positive but even our brief experience so far has shown there is a long way to go to change business practices and willingness to accept the needs of atypical candidates.

I am a DSP (direct support professional) working with my adult brother with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities), not Down Syndrome, but I STILL cannot LOVE this enough!!!

Just WOW! Now this is raising awareness! Our son will soon be 16 and we are preparing for the transition into career life, little by little. It truly does take a village!

Just great! It's about jobs, but it's about much more than that. It's about human dignity and solidarity. It's about the value of each and every life. And love for your fellow man. God bless Sting and all the people behind this. Well done!

This Sting song highlighting the wonderful things that people with Down Syndrome can accomplish and the special qualities they bring to a job and all the people they interact with brought me (and my family and numerous friends)to tears.

I’ve worked for a volunteer program that works with children and adults with special needs and the more I get to know them the more they amaze me more each day! These people are bright, they can learn, they can make a difference if we give them the chance.

I have a 17 year old son with special needs adhd and mild autism and alot of these kids are very clever that just need an opportunity and a chance to show people that even though we are different we can still do things that other people can do me and my husband love this song .
