The Hist - The Elder Scrolls Lore

Hello, im a huge elder scrolls fan and im so happy that i found your channel! keep up the good work!

Nice summary. I would however point out a few corrections: 1) The Hist are said to "acknowledge" Sithis, which isn't necessarily worship. I can't remember exactly where, it's either the Anuad, Monomyth or Varieties of Faith. 2) Similarly, the Argonians may not see their interactions with the Hist as worship as such, although it's certainly been interpreted that way. The Hist have been described as "where [the Argonians] come from and where [the Argonians] are going", (source: some Argonian fable whose name I can't remember) which implies an afterlife with them (which has some really interesting connotations to ESO's note that water = memory), but is that "worship"? I'm not totally sure. We also have a poem (A Shallow Pool), supposedly written by a Hist, that describes the Argonians as their children. The same poem also talks about those "who call me their Hist". I would have expected something like "god" or similar in there if their relation was worship in the traditional sense.

I would have to say my favourite characters are M'aiq, Sheogorath, and Paarthurnax, although there's also that Khajit you first meet on Khenarthi's Roost in ESO, I always liked him, but I can't for the life of me think of his name

I'd love to see a video about the origins of the dragons. I remember reading that dragons were in akavir at one point? Are the dragons in skyrim related to them or seperate species? Also my three favourite characters would be 1. Modryn Oreyn 2. Paarthurnax and 3. Aela the huntress

I thought the Hist and Dragons were both created by Akavir. Then the Hist created the Argonians to defend Black Marsh?

Xanmeer = Temple of the Stars. Its not an Argonian tribe. They where build by the ancestors of the Saxhleel. Before they turned into the Saxhleel.
