This is interesting. I never quite understood why we wanted to be a part of organizations created by white people for white people. I mean honestly I get the idea of saying and showing that we are equal and capable as anyone else but greek organizations for what? Why couldn’t we create organizations under names and symbols that meant something to our ancestral culture. Why greek? Just asking to understand.
Our people still in slaved Rudy,I ask the same about religion also. We went through a lot in slavery and no one’s trying to face that so I feel they running from there own past and excepting anything
@@ericbarnes2410 I believe you’re right. In a sense they are running from the past but maybe because they don’t understand how important it is to who they are. If only they would open their hearts to Truth they will see just how free they could truly be.
I think about this too. I have a brother that pledged and it seemed like a major thing at the time, but I would later wonder what all of this is for. After watching this I then asked the same question, Why didn’t we use our own symbols… and build it off our culture instead.
@@lucidityb3328 - I really don’t understand your point. The Black Fraternities & Sororities (D9) have been a staple in the communities. The D9, usually through their Alumni Chapter, is out front mentoring, giving back, providing scholarships, and making a difference. I have been a member of my organization for almost 30 years, and I have been financially active and involved.
They don’t tell the young folks that this is what they are doing. I was interested but when I heard about the hazing and the things you had to do to join…I said forget it. No one ever mentioned sacrifices and oaths. I thought you would get connections and opportunities. There is no free lunch. There is way more to it.
Do black fraternities have mixers with white sororities? They did at uab. But white fraternities did not have mixers with black sororities. I think when black fraternities have mixers with white sororities or athletes the tensions rude because black student groups who are more African continent based don't like that at all. Neither do political student groups. Or white political student groups. Nit saying it's every campus but the people on campuses whatever campuses they are either talk about these mixers when they shouldn't rap about the names when they are opposed or they get unaffiliated people no matter what race caught in the middle. And old people in politics can't grasp letting go of the past. All they sane to know is conflict. When they get called out they get violent. I have a non genetic relatives used to bullying me all my life who bumped me recently and over a will dispute and now black people are stalking social media of people like Mariah Carey and rappers and breaking on their houses. These groups provoked unrest in Huntsville Al I was nowhere close to those clashes in 2020. But involved politicians too. Huntsville Al is still carrying on since at least 2019 parties both races and justice department. I guess rewards or punishes based on whether you watch Fox news or CNN or people have been making money on elections since 1987 abd that money ends up overseas illegally. How is that getting political?
@@ioneenknowfr He is speaking some truth. My family members are examples. No different than the whites. In it to help each other and each others children. Even if it means taking away opportunities from other children. Seen it witnessed it. Lived it. I was put in positions that I did not earn simply because a frat brother was asked to do this for me. Happened without hesitation. All that glitter ain't gold.
There are immature members in all organizations. Everyone joins a fraternity or sorority for their own reasons. We can only hope people join for the right reasons. Strolling is a minuscule part of what Divine Nine organizations do and stand for.
This is Demonic. This is Baal worship.Joshua 24:23 'throw away the foreign god's that are among you and YIELD your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel'
