Why would we need to adapt to hbox’s playstyle? We don’t play against hbox in tourney’s so do you mean adapt how we watch the game? Because if so sorry but I can’t really change how I feel about watching hbox play.

I know I feel you, I actually originally talked about the Mango Hbox beef much more but it made the video really long so I ended up cutting it unfortunately.

I don't really think it is needed to be honest. Both beefs have been well documented elsewhere. Anyone interested can easily look them up.

@@henkiepenkie3372 just google "Mango AMA drama" you'll see the posts. Basically Mango dissed on Hbox hard, even dissing on Hbox's mom and girlfriend WHILE HBOX WAS HOUSING HIM. Hbox called him out on Reddit for these personal insults, and Mango basically replied with 'lmao git gud scrub.' These days Mango gets along with him just fine. It was a different time and Mango's matured a lot. Hbox has too for that matter.

The same can be said for any of the gods even leffen

@@yay842 you're actually kind of wrong. A lot players have mango's style of play but none of them are one of the 5 gods. Say what you will about him, but only the fact that he was one of the most dominate players in smash makes him above the cut of the rest. He was entertaining but also someone everyone felt comfortable putting their faith into because he was just so Damn good. It made people want to cheer for him because he didn't lose (back when he was the main-stay but now it's really between hbox and armada). I think all 5 gods brought something unique to the table, m2k with meticulous training and knowledge, but more of a shy soul (nothing wrong with that), armada with just pure skill and sportsmanship (almost like the white-knight of smash), ppmd with the most loveable personality along with skill, hungrybox who is just a underdog in the 5 gods realm but rises uped with consistency and the urge to be the best, and mang0 who was gifted from the start and had the charisma that melee needed to gain attention. Sure there was the demi-gods and leffen the God-slayer but really alot of viewers wouldnt even know of melee or pay attention if mang0 wasnt around. Leffen v Armada would just be kinda meh. Hbox without mang0 would be just him beating Armada, m2k, and leffen which might draw people, but mang0 was the main stay during a time when Armada was the it factor and although he is really great he didnt have the it factor for people to tune in and watch. Entertainment is key, and mang0 had it, had the crowd, and made melee a key contender for 2013 Evo. Skill brought him to be a God, but personality brought him to being the GOAT. Is he the best melee player out there? Nope! Is he the one that brought more people to melee? Imo yes. And then leffen is only a god slayer because of mang0 and hbox, maybe armada too but controversy is key and the next generation cant start without the previous generation ending on a good note. My point is, not just "anyone" can do what mang0 did, if they could they would be up there with leffen as top 6, but only the demi gods are up there. Sure personality is something, but to back it up is something few have.
