The history of Michigan Central Station 

The concert was Amazing and I went on the tour today. Michigan Central Station is so beautiful inside. Please go and the inside if you're able.

Amazing restoration, from Australia! I never thought I’d see the day, but so glad I could witness this. They’ve put so much work into the restoration! Definitely adding this to my US bucket list trip 😊

Glad to see its rebirth from afar! Would love to see an extension of the Detroit streetcar to it as well as adding Amtrak service back at it! Not to mention Michigan commuter rail...

I was born and raised in Detroit, although I left the city in 2007 for a job. I am so glad to see the train station renovated! Thank you, Junior! (Yes, I am from a Ford family, and worked as a contractor for Ford in Research and Design, and that's what we called him.)

My Grandfather worked there. Also in the older wooden Michigan Central building before 1913. He was a bridge engineer at the Michigan Central Railroad

Here's a little known history of the train station. In 2010 we shot some movie scenes for the movie Bad to the Bone, around the train station as we shot war scenes.
