I grew up in that park. I lived on Riverside Place. Now I am 73 years old and very happy that this park is once again being used. It is a delight to see children there again, learning and developing. I knew every inch of that park. Over the years, I was sad to see the changes. For a child that is a place of wonder and delight. I skated on the river, walked all the way to Shorewood along the tracks, sledded down the hills and rode the toboggan slide. May it always be a place of wonder for children in years to come.
