Rick Owens is one of the most prolific designers in recent memory. In this video we look at how he started out knocking off designer brands, met Michèle Lamy, got his work noticed by Anna Wintour (chief-in-editor of Vogue), his legal trouble with Nike, the Rick Owens x Adidas era, and much more. We will also talk in detail about some of his standout collections, sub labels like Drkshdw and Hunrickowens, as well as his signature pieces like the Dustulator Dunks, the Geobaskets, the Ramones, and Creatch cargo pants. With each new collection Rick Owens continues to push the boundaries of fashion, and hopefully by the end of this video you’ll see why he has one of the biggest cult followings in fashion.
