This was a series I missed out on entirely. After this presentation I have learned enough to feel like a lifelong fan. Super Monkey Ball is on my bucket list now. Great editing and depth of research.
Thanks man! This video is hard to go back and watch these days for me since it’s my very first one, haha. Great series though and highly recommended. If you want to see some CRAZY speed runs, look up ones for these games.
Dude! You nailed the living hell out of this! As a long time fan of the Monkey Ball franchise, I learned a good bit about the series from this. I didn't realize that my beloved Money Target wasn't in the original game! You did a great job researching all of these elements for the video, provided some choice comedic elements to the video, and managed to keep the attention of this ADHD prone chowder head throughout. Well done, Chris and I look forward to your next projects. *Cough* Shin Megami Tensei!
Super Monkey Ball 2 bowling was our main game back in the day! Me and my roommates were all playing to get a perfect game with Gongon and once one of us hit that, we never played again lol.
Agreed! Monkey Target was definitely the most fun and unique of them all. I’ve been meaning to play Game and Wario since I love the rest of the series. It’s the only one I missed.
I didn't know about this game and somehow my nerdy son did lol, I enjoyed a lot the relevance of its novelty in an age where complexity was the trend as you made it very clear. I truly enjoy the quality of your videos dude, I had to start from the beginning after watching your video on SotN so now me and my son have you as our must watch channel, so expect my comments all over! Thanks for making this, never stop
Thank you so much!! There’s actually a new collection coming out this September that includes the first two games so you and your son can check them out if you’re interested.
I am a HUGE Bloodborne fan! I actually have a massive Bloodborne banner we used for trade events hanging in my room from my time working at PlayStation.
For sure, this was the first video I ever made so it was a bit of a learning experience and kind of a test run, haha. My later videos have been full series documentaries. One of these days I may circle back around and do the full Monkey Ball franchise though.
