The Rolling Stones is an always will be The Greatest Rock`n`Roll Band of all time! But The Beatles were and maybe still are The Greatest pop/Rock band of all time Even if The Rolling Stones were a much more revolutionary and influential than The Beatles
@@wuddude1599 no way roliing stones are a few country miles better than beach boys ,stones easly blows beach boys away I know for sure, I've seen beach boys and stones a few times.
I wouldn't say that it is bad to put your opinion online, but rather dangerous. But it is an opinion, and in my opinion I believe that The Rolling Stone is one of the best rock and roll bands to exist.. They are definetly up there.
Once someone asked me why the Rolling Stones didn’t have a Hollywood walk of fame star, to which I told him that we don’t want tourists to step on our favourite band!
@@wuddude1599 BEACH BOYS ARE A GREAT BAND BUT THEY DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE ROLLING STONES AND HONESTLY I THINK THAT LED ZEPPLIN IS THE GRATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME
@@angelocejas6668 The Beatles are for pussies that are mostly listening to One Direction,The Backstreet Boys ,The Searchers And The Fourmost! But The Rolling Stones Are for cool an musical intelligent people that are mostly to real music like:ACDC,Slade,Aerosmith,The Animals,The Black Crowes and Steppenwolf! HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love ❤️ the stones, they are the most incredible band with endless classic music 🎶 🎵, that just says a lot.Mick and the boys will always take it to the next level ❤️ 💙. They are always ready to do something no one has seen or heard before. That's why you are 2nd to none 🎉🎉
The number of albums and hit songs are truly amazing. Btw back in the 60's Mick Jagger and Maryanne Faithful together were at the top of the 'beautiful people' heap. Time is cruel to us all, but back in the day Mick was the coolest dude around.
How many other bands have lasted for 50 years and still go strong... They were part of the rock boom, saw the birth of metal and created many of the timeless rock hits. And yet they are still at ti, the stones never stop on rollin'
It's not that they couldn't, they just didn't. And no, they weren't desperate for a single, their manager Andrew Loog Oldham just wanted a more commerical sounding song than blues numbers, so they asked the Beatles to write a song for them. They did and the Stones managed to get the "throwaway" track into the UK Top 20. Beatles version never charted.
They left out the part where when the Stones signed their first record deal, they couldn't write their own stuff yet. So, desperate for a single they went to John Lennon & Paul McCartney and asked for help. They gave them "I Wanna Be Your Man" which they viewed as a throw away and eventually used when they needed an early Ringo vocal.
I intended to list the top 10 but there's really about 50 songs that are so great they have to be mentioned 1 Satisfaction 2Start Me up 3 Brown Sugar 4 Cant You hear me knockin 5 Paint it Black 6 Sympathy for the devil 7 Gimme shelter 8 Wild Horses 9 Angie 10 Jumpin Jack Flash 11Beast of Burden 12Little tna 13Only Rocknroll 14Midnight Rambler 15Time waits for noone 16Slave 17As tears go by 18Time is on my side 19All About You 20Cant Be seen 21Streets of Love 22When the whip comes down 232000 Light years from home 24Title 5 25Bitch 26Rocks off 27Memory Motel 28No spare parts 29Plundered my Soul 30Stupid Girl 31Connection 32Starfucker 33Have you seen your mother baby 34Everybody needs somebody to love 35Hey Negrita 36Play with fire 37Andrews Blues 38Heart of Stone 39You cant always get what you want 40Far away eyes 41I'm Free 42Get off My Cloud 43Honkey tonk woman 44The last time 45Street Fighting Man 46Miss you 47Fool to cry 48Anybody seen My baby 49Love is strong 50Waiting on a friend
And they cover him! In the US's south they would play for white people, then visit the black clubs to meet the blues artists they covered earlier in the day
If you want to know Stones history you have to ask Keith. The reason? Mick can't remember, Brian and Stu are dead, Ron Wood is still wasted, Charlie doesn't care, Mick T missed most of it and Bill Wyman's just a dirty old man. Absolutely the greatest band in all Rock and Roll history, the prototype.
Some Girls is much more than a hard rock album. I can't think of any rock album with a comparable level of variety and textures. "Respectable," "When the Whip Comes Down" and "Lies" - Driving Hard Rock "Far Away Eyes" - Campy Country "Just My Imagination" - Motown Cover "Beast of Burden" - Ballad "Miss You" - Disco (!) "Some Girls" - Glam Rock (Maybe?) "Before They Make Me Run" - Obligatory Keith-Singing basic rock Song "Shattered" - NO IDEA how to categorize this. Funk? And then there were the very personal and controversial subject and lyrics. Respectable ripped Bianca Jagger a new one. "Some Girls" caused Jesse Jacks to be...ummmm....displeased by the lyric "Black girls just wanna get fucked all night." And the feminists generally weren't thrilled with that one. Amazing, amazing album. In my humble opinion the greatest rock album ever made.
"In the late seventies The Stones began to experience poor sales and reviews." The Rolling Stones never sold more albums than in the period 1978-1981. Some Girls (1978) is their most successful album to date in terms of sales. And it received brilliant reviews - still hailed as their last great album.
U dont know mojo brian jones auditioned jagger n richards and formed the band he was the founder of rolling stones so I say rolling stones died in 1969

The Beatles were good enough friends to the Stones to not try too hard with a song ("I Wanna Be Your Man") they'd already given the Stones as a favor. Consequently, they used it as filler. The Beatles had already scored at least one #1 record on the UK charts by that time.
Actually after they first signed the A side was 'Come On' was by Chuck Berry / B 'I Want To Be Loved' by Willie Dixon. I bought it as they were my friend's college band - Keith was at Sidcup Arts.
I had a poster of Keith with a guitar on my bedroom wall when i was 15 i can't remember now where i got it mum didn't approve and said he's a junkie so knowing she liked tom jones i said something about I'd heard women threw their underwear at tom and the poster stayed.
Sam Cutler said it best at the beginning of the live album 'Get Yer Ya Ya's Out' ... "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World, The Rolling Stones!”
