Really enjoyed learning the history of the gardens. I especially liked the visuals and descriptions on how they were finally able to transport the specimens in the glass cabinets. We take it for granted, but keeping tropical plants alive on the way to England would have been difficult. Similarly, expecting seeds to grow in completely different soil would have also proved challenging.
Well, here it is January 2022, cold and wet here in Lower Mainland BC, Canada. But I really enjoyed this visit to Kew. Very well put together and informative. Thank you for your research and attention to detail, good job ! ❤️ ✌️ 🇨🇦
