Yeah, I was shocked they didn't use a real cottage too. It probably wouldn't have lasted long as I don't think it was made from the best materials.

Their is a vid on youtube the making of the this film and they talk to the actors etc :) making of the holiday film

Unfortunately I don't think they made many :( There's a commentary with Nancy Meyers on the DVD, but not much else. The girl who played Sophie recently showed her scrapbook on Tiktok too - there was a deleted scene they filmed (Sophie, Olivia and Graham seeing Amanda in a cafe before she leaves), but it was never released.

Believe it or not, they made the cottage just for the film!! They took it down straight after so there’s nothing there now. They filmed the interior scenes on a soundstage in LA!!

Shere in Guildford is lovely, just like being on a movie set, I was there today visiting. Very friendly village, and a good pub 😉

Hello kuku even though the cottage wasnt real, it actually is a replica of a real cottage nearby in another village. Honeysuckle cottage in Holmbury St Mary 😊
