Hello Paul, I listened to you talking with Darrin Needle Bender 99 in Salt Lake Valley, Utah. I like the beam antenna in this video. It reminds me of the Siro 3 element beam I just put up a few days ago. Your signal was sounding great on ch 38 ssb.
Thats awesome. That 1..3 ish swr if you feel like trying to get it lower ease that ground side of the caox further away from center when i did mine i moved about 2 inches out and now my needle doesn't move .
how directional is that antenna, does the signalstrength change when you turn that antenna ? when its 4el, then it should be already notably directional. what is the SWR on that design ? how much gain does that antenna has over other antennas ? a new video to see all that would be interesting.
Hi Paul. Great talking to you I believe on Saturday/Sunday. Your were sounding top shelf as always. All the best my friend. Hope we can speak again. 73s WR456 🇬🇧 Rich.

Always nice to see a Diy Beam & good Swr video .....Wow,....1/8" wall thickness Continuous length elements is Really thick !! ...Not exactly best structural design (thin wall telescoping less drooping & better attributes) but maybe more affordable from Local metal scrap yard ? Amazingly Good Swr from simple Direct Connected coax....Thx for video..
