OMG 🙌🏼 THANK YOU!! This is what there is not enough out there of! I have searched for over 3 years..I have watched you over and over on Meet Marry Murder…I survived! 💪 but I wished I had believed that it could be me..I only did when I found the stats of violence at 83% during separation…Higher than ANY AOTHER scenario! I studied and made sure I wasn’t wearing or have anything around that could be used to strangle me as that’s the easiest way to kill a woman. ‘HE (SHE) would NEVER do that to me…I hope you don’t have to find out.

Problem is; the law is way too easy on these abusers. If the woman is obviously hurt and too scared of him to get in an ambulance, she should not be left with him; he should be hauled to jail for minimum ten years.

My son was a victim of coercive control. I failed, I had no idea how to protect him. I had told him she was going to put him in an early grave. That was the first mistake I made. She isolated him from friends and family. She totally controlled him. I found my son dead.

Yes. What are the consequences question, abnormal actions but logical decisions. I’m so lucky I did not lose my life.

It's still coercive control. Doesn't matter if it's dressed up with culture or religion.
@janesmith4617

@@kezzokav5905 Agreed. Culture or religion might give an abuser a way to justify their behaviours--"honour killings" are a good example here--but they don't excuse or condone them. Abuse is abuse no matter what your culture or religion.
