I got fitted for a QI10 LS and it's changed my game of the tee. No more spinney drivers, just bullets. Gained over 35 yards and worth every penny

I had the Sim2 max but just couldn’t get used to the white front/line on the crown. Now have the standard QI10 and love the classic look of it.

Yes, please do a test using the SIM 2, I still use one and I would really like to see that

I have a low to mid 90s swing speed and went for a driver fitting early last week. Tried all the new drivers after playing G430 Max last year. I got less spin with the G430 Max 10k, AI Smoke, and Qi10 standard, but the Qi10 Max gave me the most carry (a little less total however) and easily the straightest ball flight. I didn’t think I’d like the carbon face, especially with all the press about some of them breaking, but I did like the noise and feel of a middle strike. Ultimately, I haven’t gotten much more in driver distance compared to my G430 Max, and perhaps the honeymoon period will fade, but right now, I feel more confident taking on a narrow fairway with trouble left and right. It’s been a fairway finder in the three rounds I’ve played so far.

I had the Stealth 2 traded it in for the QI10 Max. Love the QI10. Love the sound of the ball off the club face. I find it impossible to duck hook the QI10. I’ve hit every fairway. Distance I out drive the Stealth 2.

Quality head to head and I could easily game either one of those

I’ve dealt with GC4C for some time! Used to live in Edinburgh then East Lothian then moved again to Yorkshire and our former pro, John, at Haddington GC went to work for them! They have some top quality gear at fair prices! I just sold a handful of clubs I had lying about for a great price (when up for a wedding😉) and bought a load of driver, fairway & hybrid shafts, probably about £800 worth for £200, advertised as pre-owned but honestly NO sign of use at all! The joys of getting old but still playing decently! I reshafted those clubs for LESS cost than getting a new driver (with a trade in) and I have the old shafts to sell! Cannot argue with that!!

I’m still playing the first Stealth driver and love it.

I would take accuracy over distance every day, a 150y fairway shot is better than a 130y shot from thick rough 👍.

My local PGA pro is nudging people towards the re-released SIM 2 max as bang for buck it offers a lot. Personally the issues with the stealth 2 face popping off puts me off too much. Great comparison James it does seem like a gradual progression rather than revolutionary. Both sound really nice.

I feel like they're still the same driver though, even the contours are the same on the bottom. The only real difference between the two core models (outside of color scheme) is that Stealth 2 comes with a 25g rear weight stock, and Qi10 comes with a 32g rear weight stock. On your simulator, I noticed you have a left bias with the Stealth 2 and was hitting Qi10 pretty straight, but I'd be curious if you would hit Stealth 2 just as accurate if you put a 32g weight in the back.

Sim 2 max goes crazy. I like how it feels way better then the stealth 2 and it is way cheaper then the qi10

Just upgraded to a Qi10 Max from a 25 year old Titleist 975D. Bit disappointed with distance, its barely adding much against such an old club. Its a million times more forgiving though, lovely to hit.

Was lucky enough to win a Qi10 fully fitted through my club. Tried the Max and the regular and also the new Cobra Darkspeed. All data made me go for the Qi10 Max, took a couple of games to get used to it compared to my Cobra F9 but now I love the Qi10. I find it very forgiving on toe hits and when make proper contact I have gained around 30 yards which I am loving.

Would love to see a comparison with the Sim 2. Just bought a brand new in plastic Sim 2 Max for 300 bucks and man that thing still hits bombs.

Picked up a Stealth 2 last week now that they have dropped below $349 new. a few SIM2 still out there for $299

Have Stealth 2, but in Spain playing with Qi10's next week.....might be expensive!!! (especially 3 wood, playing an m4 at the moment) I thought the main selling point of Qi10 is the smaller dispersion? Seems to be living up to that.

I went for a fitting for a new driver earlier this year,the qi 10 came out on top,but at nearly 600euros gave me pause for thought, I'm 71 playing off16 I'm gaming a taylormade r9 at present and can match a mates stealth ,soim still undecided

I think you’ve found your gaming driver in that QI10 James, can’t see how you can get much better than that.

I'm still using the cobra f9 and i borrowed my mates g430 at the driving range for a few hits recently and honestly the difference was so negligible that there's no reason for me to pump 500 quid for maybe an extra 5 yards.

I was just on vacation and I had to rent clubs. Got a full set of Qi10 and I was not impressed. Shafts being wrong for me did not help. But I was expecting to be blown away and I wasn't. Getting fit matters and getting in the right shaft makes more difference than playing the latest heads out there.

I’ve always been a Ping driver owner until the TaylorMade Q10 “Max” came out and I have to say it’s the most forgiving and longest driver I’ve ever had.

Had the Sim Max and hated it. am playing the PXG 0811x with Project X Cypher 50 Gram shaft and just Smoking it!!!

I have the sim 2 max, I don’t trust the carbon face long term. I also picked up the mini driver. Both clubs were less the cost than the Qi10.

Why did you not do stealth 2 HD vs max. That would be a better comparison. That or stealth 2 vs normal qi 10

The QI driver is very nice ..really not much difference for me in distance? Wondering you hit 305 with a stiff flex shaft..can you do one for the average golfer who hit reg shaft..and then see the distance..thanks

I have had both drivers. Accuracy/forgiveness is better with the Qi10. Distance is not much different.

How do you manage to hit "One of the best drives in a very long time", nearly every week?

Can someone help me out, I just got back into golfing. I got the old super quad driver 9.5 loft stiff flex. from 15 years ago. At the range I’m hitting it 1/2 way to 3/4 way up the back net that’s 280 yards to the base. So guessing around a 300 carry with a range ball. If I upgraded to a newer driver and fitted shaft can someone tell me how much distance I could gain?

I’m still gaming the original Stealth in Driver, Stealth 2+ 3 wood and Stealth+ hybrid. Was fit for the new Qi10 but haven’t bought it because, not a fan of the bigger profile, the blue face doesn’t suit my eye and neither does the infinity crown. I can say it’s more forgiving tho.

How much is one club closer to the green on your drive really worth

with the problems with the faces on the Stealth's , a warranty is pretty important as well . LOL :)

Test the sim against the stealth 2 and qi10

If I hit my current Driver (Ping G425 Max) 200 yards carry and hit it relatively straight would changing my driver give me and more distance?

I traded off my Stealth Plus for a Titleist TSI3. The carbon face has a problem popping off the body and the body of the Stealth has a history of cracking. This has been a documented problem since 09/01/23'. I have demo-ed Qi10 but I am not paying $599 USD for it.

I have my Sim 2 and $600 in my bank account to play golf. The charges are so minor for the average golfer.

Ever since the Sim I haven’t liked the looks of the Taylormade drivers. SLDR and the original M1 are the best they ever made.

Cheapskates like me, got a Stealth Plus instead of Ping G430 LST. They're both low spinners that I needed but Stealth Plus is now only $270, and PING is $600 discounted. I struggled with modern PING driver head shape have a hard time squaring them naturally and felt heavy. It's no brainer really to go with Stealth as I don't care about getting the latest model. I bet QI10 LS will fir me well but why pay $700+ for a few more yards and a driver that stayed new at best for a month?

Different shafts. Would have preferred if you used the same shaft.

I tested the QI 10 when they first came out I've been playing the sim 2 and only got about 10 yards difference and that's not worth $600

In terms of innovation, it's remarkable that these companies develop so many drivers, year after year trying to tell you they're the best yet but really, it's all marketing to get people to spend their hard earned cash. I could buy the best gear but I'll still be average at best. You are proof that for the uplift of an extra £50 this year on last years cost, that there is really no discernable difference from last years Stealth to this years Qi10 model and probably in the Calloway Ranges and Pings of this world and also Cobra. It's just marketing and do you like this years colourway/styling changes. It's no different to trainer design and that's whats happened with golf clubs....... Being completely honest, if you're going to change from let's say, your Stealth driver to the brand new Model, surely you want to see a decent difference in results but the truth is, for your average golfer out here in the big wide world, we are not seeing value for money on what all the brands are trying to sell us...... Upping the price by 5/10% isn/t getting you 5/10% extra in distance etc...... for me, if you are spending that kind of money, you need to see a clear difference. You dont demonstrate a clear difference really when you are testing the products, only if you hit a perfect shot but golf isn't like that, we cant repeat the perfect shot every time, it's almost impossible. I'd love to know your own thoughts on that James.

Qi10 looks better and is tons more forgiving for ALL players. Distance is probably similar but forgiveness is just crazy different.

I have a stealth 2 driver, and it is garbage compared to stealth plus that I cracked last year, I went back to my m5 tour.

Seeing as im a poor golfer ….(scoring and financially)…yeah the sim2 and any other game improvement driver that will keep me out of the right woods 😬🤷🏼‍♂️✌️

for the $$ give me the MacGregor V max you tested recently. it's pound for pound the best deal. Unless you play golf for $$, keep your investments low.

I own the Qi10 Max... I went back to my M5. Why you may ask? Because of spin and adjustability! TBH, I should have bought the Qi10LS. 🤷‍♂ The Qi10 is VERY forgiving! But my spin numbers with it is causing ballooning. 😥

They put red on to know you're playing the stealth. I don't think TaylorMade understands what they word stealth means

I've been a taylormade driver follower. Since carbon face. I don't like it. I've tried stealth 2 and qi10. Hate them. My old sim 2 out preformed them. So disappointed with qi10. I've changed to PXG black ops.

Taylormade updates drivers the way we change underwear.

Most of all I don’t want the red face to fall off, the Stealth was a disaster, pros refused to play it, so TM had to do something and divorce the new club from what went before. Stealth 2 is crazy cheap, because folk do not want it. So yes you might get a bargain, but is it a club worth buying? With regards the SIM driver or the Cobra f9 these are worth comparing, and will hold their own against any of the new drivers
