Great topic and pianist! Thanks. At 5:39 there is some video distortion. Any way to upload a new version?

I think these programmes were first broadcast in 1984 as part of a BBC TV Jazz Day. The host was Russell Davis.

Mentioned by Kenneth Williams in his Diaries, as having been broadcast on BBC2, on the 12th. December, 1985. As of 18/6/;20, as at 5'35", this video becomes unviewable, for reasons unknown to me.

Not to sound racist but Dick plays rag music like the way a white man with a classical piano background would. His timing, tempo, and dynamics are way off, and, lastly, the old man has no vitality. He ain't no professor of rag.
