@@gabrielv.4358 How do you think of that, I still use their Infinix HOT 8 budget phone from 2019 with 4GB and 64GB and it's still snappy and quick and the battery lasts a whole day of usage, their older phones are not as durable as they are today but their recent phones have gotten signifacally better
The keypad reminds me of the Motorola RAZR that my uncle had back then. Also I am in the progress of hacking the MT6261 and writting drivers. Great video, SMOOREZ.
I think it needs network, internet access to play java apps, don't know why but I've seen feature phones do this before. Maybe this apps aren't really installed, only the icon, so the phone need to download and install them first. With that low memory this kind of phone have I don't doubt this. 2G still work here.
Nucleus RTOS is the operating system/kernel and MediaTek MAUI is the user interface running on top of it. You can develop VXP apps in C/C++ for some MediaTek MAUI based phones (though not this one).
Wow what a fab video. Lol it looks rather cool. I enjoyed the attempts at the name. I've gone for the same pronunciation as the planet Hoth from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Partly because the number buttons reminded me of a druid but also the camera/video test where it sounded just like it was a communicator from the franchise. Also when you were saying Java java jave I thought you said Jabba Jabba Jabba lol Impressive LEDs they did light up your garden quite well. I could use it to find dropped keys on a dark night. Lol I'm sorry but I had a laugh at the camera test. Sound wise I thought it was quite good despite the small sperker. It seemed less distorted at high volume. Radio sounded good too. I presume sound would be better through headphones. I was disappointed, though not as much as you, when practically none of the apps worked. I thought it might be due to the apps needing a mobile connection to work. However it just could br because it's cheap and they are fake apps. Thoroughly enjoyed the video. Although did miss Miss Ripley but if you did film her how could we tell. Lol
Gee whiz. In the USA, I recently got a new/old stock Samsung Galaxy J3 (2019 revision) smartphone for $19.99. These feature phones just don't add up with that kind of competition
Must be a market for these kind of phones. Though not for long since 2G GSM is dead or shutting down in most countries around the world. Even 3G is soon to be non existant as well.
I'm writing this as I watch so I remember, the screen is not bad at all and that voice. The camera though, even I can draw better than the pictures look! The annoying thing like u said it was a bit boring, I always enjoy the ripping it apart bit but there wasn't much in it either! it looked far better than it was.
Have you all played Resident Evil Survivor on the PS1 ? The T-Virus outbreak is canonically caused by escaped guinea pigs. There is a scientist diary you read, and one of the scientists writes that a bunch of infected guinea pigs escaped, and he told his commander that there was actually a guinea pig mass suicide, to cover up the fact that the guinea pigs escaped. It's a riveting plot. Just brilliant and masterful.
I have played the first half hour of it. The controls are so janky that for once I actually preferred normal tank controls. I'd happily go back and play RE2 over Survivor. Although I have watched speedruns of it and the plot also seems very...well as you put it lol
My apartment building was just built, and opened October 2023. I invited two friends over, and their first comment was as we exited the elevator... "The elevator sounds so depressed. Even more depressed than Eeyore." 😅
@@SMOOREZ Unfortunately, the DJ1000 didn't do Java, but it rather did NES emulation via XNES, a NES emulator built into the operating system of some Spreadtrum-powered devices which in turn is based off the InfoNES emulator, whereas the other DJ1000 used Spreadtrum's proprietary "WRE" platform
Limited budgets are totally understandable, but that doesnt mean that someone needs to buy these junky devices. There are plenty of decent, budget-oriented phones from name-brand companies that are equal in cost to this.
This is the worst camera you've reviewed in a long time, possibly ever. That's saying a lot! My first phone with a camera was 0.3MP and they were decent for the time. This is... "MY EYES!!"
