Join me over the course of the weekend targeting hounds on the north Kent coastline! A reasonable success from multiple short sessions using prawn as bait, who needs peeler anyway?!
Great video and some lovely smooth hounds caught. Your perseverance paid off and a better session than your one at ramsgate. I have never caught one but am told there’s a better chance after dark. Are there any decent bass caught at reculver ? It looks very snaggy there. Best wishes Dave, broadstairs
I agree mate it does, I would have loved to have stayed for Sundays tide into darkness but forgetting my headtorch put a quick end to that. I’ll be back out as soon as I can for some more 👌

Thanks Dave! Good to hear from you again 😃 yeah it’s definitely better as the light dies off and in the dark. Yeah some great bass can come up from there and the opposite end of the cliffs off beltinge tend to put up some great bass too. They seem a bit late to the party this year, keeping a close eye ready to get the spinning gear out. It’s not too snaggy east of the towers or off the prom there, west of the prom under the cliffs is a lot rougher but not unmanageable.
