My wife and I were at this gig, standing to the left of the stage in front o a tv camera due to the surging crowd. It cost 10.00 Deutsch marks = £4.00 to get in. It was filmed in the stuioos shared with the German top of the pops next door. 3 of the songs went live on TV that night. Unfortunately the VHS recording not last. Great show.
Saw them in December 87' at the SECC in Glasgow. Dave Hemingway on drums not Hugh. Supported by The Farm and North of Cornwallis, only £5:50 a ticket. Fantastic gig and it's great to hear these songs live again after such a long time.
This must have been filmed not long after the Caravan of Love video. You can still just about see the cross that was shaved into Paul hair above his ear. Also, this can't have been long before Hugh the drummer left. Amazing band, seen them in Liverpool in 86. I worked where they played so got to meet them. They were lovely to a starstruck 16 year old! Great times
