You know what, one of the best things about being in my 50's now is that I lived my teenage years in the 80's..........Priceless and I wouldn't change them for the world!

Im so glad that Phil Oakey saw Joanne and Susan in a club dancing and recruited them for his band. It was the best decision he ever made. One of the best 80s bands ever.❤

This song is so underrated i remember it being played on the radio back when it was first released. I loved it then and its still got its magic 40+ years later

There is a certain vibration to these incredible 80s songs that just seem to yank your soul from your body and spin it around. Other genres and eras I can get tired of, but songs like this I could hear everyday and still feel that same wonder amd amazement as I did as a teen.

We saw The Human League on Monday night 11-3-24. They opened up with Mirror Man. The next 90 minutes was pure ecstasy.

Phil Oakey has one of the finest voices in the business and his production values are flawless. He is better at making pop music than just about anyone else from the eighties. Who cares if he was just doing it for the cash.

Took these songs for granted back in the 80's. There was always a "weird new band" being promoted....... and by the time you realised how good they were - they were gone. Then you watch a show - and they have 80's soundtrack........ Love it. Was a great part of the background when we were growing up.

A much underrated song

Brilliant song, stood the test of time just like most of songs from the 80's. Still being played unlike some of the rubbish from the last 20 years.

I first heard this on the radio while driving on Interstate 55 in the summer of 1983 and have never forgotten this song. I've loved this song ever since that day. It didn't seem to get a lot of airplay back then on St. Louis radio, but sounds just as amazing in 2023 as it did in 1983.

I was in std 9 when this song hit the charts on capital radio 604. Reminds me of shower time in boarding school when everyone's radios were going flat out playing this track.

Sensational 80s classic.living the 80s at the time i thought their song "the lebanon" was the best..but now as an old man, i recognize this as the stand out.

Mirror Man made it to number 2 in the British Charts on 20th November 1982 and remained in the charts for 10 weeks!
