"The Human Realm is Not Worth It/人间不值得" The Untamed/陈情令
So, the term "人间不值得/The human realm is not worth it" literally implying that "Life is so not worth it" is a really popular term on Chinese Internet. It was initially stated as a joke coined by a comedian and later gained the popularity over the internet, because obviously and especially during this hard time with all this undesirable stuffs happening, It's so easy for us to make this claim. However, the meaning behind this phrase was explained by the creator that, Life sometimes was filled with dissatisfaction and at one point we might have these thoughts, the thought that "Life is not worth it anymore", but looking back we also have to realize that, all those undesirable experiences that we faced is part of what makes life worth living.
This song "人间不值得" was written by a completely unrelated person to the creator of this term. However, The original meaning behind this phrase remain the same. Upon hearing it for the first time and reading the translation. I instantly fell in love with this song and many scenes of "The Untamed" flashed through my head and I knew I had to make this Edit.
So every shot is edited to follow the lyrics meaning, that's why I added to English Subtitles below. However, I do not own any translation as i myself do not speak Chinese, and also this song is so heavily reference to the Chinese language, culture and literature that English just wouldn't do this song justice.
