I've always found Richard Kuklinski extremely fascinating! He clearly loved his family and had a strong sense of, (his own sort of and somehow twisted), morale but still capable of killing people in horrendous ways.... Could kill an innocent man without blinking, but would never kill a innocent woman or a child! A mastermind when it came to crime - a hitman like no other!

I've been on Rob's serial killer videos run and I noticed that a lot of these serial killers were knocked the hell out during their childhood.

Seriously, this is one of the saddest cases on SKF; poor kid never stood a chance, and ended up becoming the same wife-beating, soulless monster his father was. His ability to retain some morality, and sometimes be a good parent, shows that if he hadn't had such a bad upbringing, he probably would've become a great guy.

I have watched his prison interviews several times. There is something so powerful about how cold and calm he was when talking about the killings and even at times laughing lightly through some of it.

His story has many parallels with mine. My father would punch me square in the face,drag me flights of stairs by my hair,kick me down slopes because I was sleepy,my mother even has thr mark in her belly where my father whipped her with a belt. The scar didn't go because she was pregnant with me. My mother had to go through a series of indescribable physical and mental torture from my father.The only difference is that my mother leaved him and had been trying to fix me as ever since. Yet I find it hard to cope with depression and PTSD and get back into society,get back to having faith in a god. I'd always been considered a bright child being classmates with those who are atleast a year older than me. I had always wanted to become a writer,ever since I was a kid,I had developed a love for reading and writing at a very early age and there is no one person who didn't applaud my writings when I was in high school. But I still cannot put my flair of it into anything anymore. I try so hard to find confidence,muster the courage to get back into society but I fail every time. The worst part is that here in the extreme NE of India,nobody considers these psychological ailments as ailments and turn a deaf ear to it. When those who care enough to listen to my story would only end up saying "You can do it. It's something you have to get over yourself" Depression isn't something we can get over alone and we need as much help as we can.

You know what was really interesting was that Richard actually ended up in the same prison as his brother. In one interview they even asked if he had seen him. He said "yeah I even said hi".

you forgot to mention that death spray that he learned from another serial killer that was an ice cream man that sprayed some of his customers when the were not looking. they became friends for a while and that ice cream man taught Richard how to make and use the death spray. Richard later killed the ice cream man! crazy stuff.

With that many kills he's got to be one of the coldest and hardest killers yet also one who's actions are understandable from his past and from the world he lived in. Real Badman.

As soon as I heard that he killed cats and dogs I immediatly hoped he was dead.

Damn this is defiantly one of the most interesting cases. This man is a cold blooded killer, but unlike other murderers, he had his morals. I'm not saying this man is a saint, but he is defiantly something else. On one hand this man is responsible for over 200 deaths, would kill innocent men and animals, and was both a loving father and abusive husband. On the other hand he killed rapists and child abductors, never laid a hand on his children, and children and (innocent) women were off limits. What surprises me the most is the fact that he didn't hate woman. I assumed he would since during his fucked up childhood his mother would beat him and forced him to go to church (which also had abusive nun's) but he didn't show much resentment for woman. He grew up with so many problems and yet he somehow had limits. Strange.

This video is extremely edgy. To say the least. If you listen to 'confessions of a hitman' where Kuklinski inerviwed by a (not sure of the word) psychaitrist then that one (his own words) is just plain different from what Rob is presenting to us. Not much of Kuklinski's youths matches what Rob said compared to Kuklinski's own words. Two very different stories.

Actually... Kuklinski was one of the biggest liars in crime history, probably second only to Henry Lee Lucas.

I always feel bad for those who became criminals because of abuse from family. I can't help but feel bad for Kullinski. He may have been a suspect but he was also a victim. A victim of horrible abuse that would later turn him into a killer. Mentally scared for life. Weather he is in hell or heaven, may God forgive him and feel remorse for wat he went through. I certainly feel remorse for him. :(

I had to re-watch this because, honestly, this guy is incredibly fascinating. I wonder, with his intelligence, what would have become of him had he not been so badly abused. He was capable of achieving a lot.

My father has personally met the Ice man. I would be honored to share some of his stories from the prison.

When he killed the bully, it reminded me of the scene from the remake of Halloween where Michael follows the billy into the woods and beats him to death. I wonder if that scene was based off Richard’s situation.
