For what it's worth, I love that you're not being one of these "google every answer to min/max the game" people. Makes watching these truly entertaining to me knowing you're not going to perfectly do every quest with no issues, upgrade all your weapons and pre-know what you're looking for so that each discovery is actually impactful.

For the runes, what I used to do was, whenever I got a decent amount of them I would just farm whatever little was left so I could level first, and only then I would start a fight. So that if I lost them, it would only be only a couple thousand and I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

The main thing I’ll say about upgrading is that there’s regular smithing stones for regular weapons, but there’s Sober smithing stones for special weapons. Regular weapons can be upgrade to +25 Special Weapons +10

The grand lift requires two halves of a medallion to activate, but since you reached the Altus Plateau the other way by killing the wyrm there's no real reason to get the medallion halves.

You have to respect how he didn't change his starting gear AT ALL 😂

Put the horse whistle thingy on your right pouch dummy. You can use it instantly by holding the triangle button and pressing the direction where you set it. Easier than spamming down to get it

for the flasks, thats understandable. but to make things a bit easier you can set the red flask to your up d-pad input and the blue to the down d-pad input. makes healing faster for for sure.

The area ahead that you mentioned is a city, it's a sort of maze. I personally recommend exploring the plateau before going since their several good items to collect.

You can put your spectral Steed in your pouch slot so that way all you have to do is hold triangle and press left

I always keep the spectral whistle, buff flask, MP flask, and some random grease in the pouch so there's nothing but the HP flask in the equip slot

In the area with Radahn, there's a dungeon at the farthest north side

There's two items you need to get to activate the lift, Dectus Medallions Left and Right. You don't really need to worry about it since you found the tunnel around though, also because I just don't remember where either medallion is.

To use that lift u went to u need 2 halves of th dectus medallion... 1 is in fort haite n 1 in fort Gael both r in calid... But u don't require them since u have already got to alt us platue

Remember to make sure to read the descriptions of key items you get because once you get the dectus pieces theres a puzzle that will require you to read the item descriptions so its a good habit to get into and it will also help lead you to side quests lore etc.

There is the quick slots when you hold triangle

seereax real quick, if you press the left stick while mounting you dismount without having to scroll through the items, also you can equip stuff in a fast menu, so you hold triangle and press the arrow and use the items, just equip them on the right menu when you press start

So equipping the great rune only allows you to activate it. It is not active and as such giving you no benefits until you use an item called a rune arc. For the Grand lift of Dectus you need to get two medallion halves. One half is in Fort Faroth in Caelid and the other in Fort Haight in Mistwood. But since you are already at the Altus Plateau it is pointless now. The reason you couldn't use the lightning grease on Radahn's weapon is because it has innate magic damage.

The only advice is they have a pouch u can hold triangle and use items like your whistle of magic flask. Its on the start menu

you can hop off the horse by clicking in the left stick so you don't need to keep scrolling for the item.

Try equipping Torrent to your pouch. You can hold Triangle and select him. Also go to settings and disable motion controls so you would not emote by mistake. You’ll thank me later.

There's a softcap for strength at 55 which makes future points in it do virtually nothing.

if you want to complete your kratos look you should attempt to farm the magma blades they are basically the blades of chaos takes time to do but you wont be disappointed with the bower!!!

Pro tip put your horse ring in your pouch so it’s separate from your flasks and you can just hold triangle and quickly click a directional to get on your horse, its much faster and clears room so that you can quickly get to the flask you need
