I've really grown to love playing this game. What's sad is seeing that there's really only one server that has people playing on it or am I seeing this all wrong?
There's usually one public server open just constantly repeating. If you join a regiment you can join organized events and imo that's more fun because more people are in their respective roles and such :)
@@jacdaniels4039 I really like that! I've been on for about 5 months and play almost daily. It's just annoying seeing Rambos mess things up for a company. I'd rather play with a group performing their respective roles than a bunch of hoodlums running around shooting
@@-Ripcord- well there are many companies in the UEC which would be interested in having a new recruit! Although we play at European times we have many North Americans in our community too
Joining a regiment (this game’s version of clans) is the way to go as they drill together to be as good as they can and there’s leagues that organize massive events at least weekly.
I've been a CW reenactor for almost a decade and have played WOR for a couple of years now. Perhaps I'm bias but this game is without a doubt one of the greatest games ever made. Thanks for your all your awesome videos of this truly epic game.
They can do so much with this kind of classic wars. Revolutionary war would be a great one to add in.. Battle Of fort Ticonderoga? .. Ships on the water with artillery... Or just continue with the Civil War front and add in numerous more locations. I think they should add in the final battle from the movie "Glory" where you just sent troops in to overthrow their fort on the beach.. WW1 games are starting to make a comeback I see, I feel due to this game's patience, it's why we are seeing that. Another slow reload and jousting type of war. I can't believe people enjoy modern WW3 type of games instead of this. Bonkers to me.

this is what you get when you play in a UEC event, Immersion at its finest. ive got a vid from the reb side on my channel of the last 6 mins where it was complete chaos
Cody never fails to impress me, simplistic gameplay content with mild voiceover. Literally one of the only RU-vidrs that I enjoy w/ narration mixed with gameplay. Another thing is that he’s so kind to randoms, hopefully one day we meet in this game because I’m gonna install it.
Literally went to one when I turned 11. I was so damn excited. I remember seeing one of the "dead" drummer boys eating a chocolate bar out of his pocket.
hey cody its tommy from war of rights i was the guy playing space jam had fun playing with you lol if i ever see you on cookes countercharge hop in my rank and will talk :D
Is it worth it getting this game? I mean it looks awesome and it's totally something I would play but is the player base alive enough for there to be a bunch of operating servers?
The out of a company players normally fill a server all day but as soon as an event is on multiple servers open for the company players and the game is filled then too. But in short yes the game is doing great and is growing with the addition of conquest mode so maybe there will be more servers open for daily use
It's so cool how you just end up in amongst a bunch of men speaking German. The Union Army had men from all over the world hoping to survive the war and become Americans. Quite moving
It certainly is alive. Not very many players in total but everyone plays on a single server with a max of 300 players. It usually has 150 - 250 players during the day. And organized Regimental events are also alive.
Pretty cool tho because some 11th corps units were commanded in German during the war so any English speaking person would have probably heard something like that.
Game looks good and the gameplay looks great. But watching a lot of videos on this game, it just doesn’t come close to actually experiencing civil war combat. I use to reenact in the early 2000s and I remember being on fields simulating real battles with 10-15thousand men at some point. This game comes nowhere close to feeling that grand scale. Maybe in 10 years or something when the technology can handle that massive amount of numbers.
