It’s a Saw game made for Saw fans and how much you like the movies will heavily influence your enjoyment of this game. If you’re a fan of Saw, you’ll probably enjoy it quite a bit since it does a fairly good job of translating the experience of a Jigsaw game into a video game format and it captures the general atmosphere of the Saw films quite well with its setting, music, sound design, and environmental details (I especially love the added detail of all the different bodies of other victims who’d failed their traps since it reminds you that Tapp is just one of multiple flies in Jigsaw’s vast web and that your failure will have brutal consequences not just for you, but for everyone else in this asylum). Even the two endings (which I won’t reveal because I don’t want to spoil them) keep up the tradition of the Saw films often ending on a pretty grim note for all of the characters (In fact, I think the only Saw films to date that don’t completely end on a hopeless bummer note are Saw 3D, Jigsaw, and Saw X. In fact, Saw X arguably has the most positive ending out of all the films so far). Of course, one of the two possible endings is more grim than the other, but neither of them can really be called the “Good Ending”. It’s less of a “Good Ending vs Bad Ending” kind of decision and more of a “Bad Ending vs Worse Ending” kind of decision. No matter which ending you choose, you’re not going to be walking away with a smile on your face. However, the second game is legitimately bad and unlike the first game, I think the second game deserves all the criticism it gets.

I’m honestly surprised he forgot that this game takes place in an abandoned asylum and not some large house, especially since the place looks nothing like a house (I mean what house has an operating theatre, medical equipment, and a whole chapel in it?) and in the first video, he came across a huge sign that said “Whitehurst Asylum for the Insane”. Does he even watch his own videos? If he was playing *Saw 2: Flesh and Blood* (which I hope he does), I’d be able to understand why he’d mistake the environment for a house since the main game takes place in an abandoned hotel (which does look somewhat like a house), but I don’t know how he could mistake the first game’s setting for a large house when it’s very obvious that it’s an abandoned asylum.

They could also be electrical wires. This game takes place in an old asylum and all of the equipment seems to still be there, so it wouldn’t be too hard to find the tools you’d need to build a makeshift electric chair. This asylum is pretty old as indicated by some of the documents you find and the presence of outdated medical equipment such as Iron Lungs and lobotomy chairs, and electroshock therapy was a commonly used treatment in that time period (it’s still used today, but it’s far less common, more heavily regulated, and doctors are only allowed to prescribe it as a last resort after all other treatments have failed), so it’s very likely that this asylum has that equipment.

@@mask938 Electric wires made more sense. My best guess of how this trapped worked is that if you want to get your head out of the box, you will be forced to sit on hot coals, or it goes the other way around.

Hi, I've played both games before. Honestly, I would hope not. It's much less interactive and much more of a chore. This game I can atleast reccomended to fans if rhey grit through it, but the second one is a terrible game.

@@RitzMalheur ive played both and tried to replay the first one on PC and the controls are god awful. I can't imagine it's different for flesh and bloods PC port.
