Are you guys referring to the Doug McGuff ken Hutchins Arthur Jones slow training style and the studies done on that style? Just curious. I have been using this protocol with basic body weight workouts as well as timed static contractions for about two years now.

I disagree completely. Tempo is *FUNDAMENTAL* for muscle hypertrophy, and I _myself_ can testify to this being a true fact.
