Conversely, streaming platforms are not important. They're antiquated systems that do not have the artist's best interest in mind. My opinion may be arbitrary and subjective but it's an undeniable fact.

Thing here is supply and demand. The gatekeeper's have the artists fans. If you could get the fans away from the gatekeeper's they would lose their leverage over the artists. It's all about gaining leverage. If you can turn your fans into DTCs you won't need the gatekeeper's anymore. It's going to require work to get those Frans(friend/fan) aka Super Fans.

Whats DTC also I am a ceo of an IT company tell me know we could bypass this old system I'll build it. I built my own search engine and my own social media platform now am building yt replacement. Whilst am at it. I'll replace or improve the music and movie industry so its free for all and no more control.

They seem to have superior customer service whereas distrokid has a hopeless amount of customers compared to representatives to help them

@@BatistaInvests yeah it’s just hard trusting any of these middle men in this industry. Priam takes 20% revenue but people have had issues with distrokid taking their songs off streaming saying they had fake streams when they didn’t
