I love how every single one of those had you say "some of them were good, some of them were bad" in the intro, but with this one you said "most of them were absolutely garbage" lol
Rastakhan's was a really bad set because they were intentionally trying to dial back the extreme power creep of the previous year, and so very few of the cards were high impact. This was made even worse because it was the 3rd set of the year (taking the format from 5->6), so it debuted into the largest card pool where few of its card were relevant at all. It was somewhat better after rotation, but it's probably the weakest expansion of all time in terms of card power level. Broken Gronk shit only worked sometimes in standard, so the only high-end deck that was based around a Rastakhan's card was Shirvallah/Holy Wrath paladin, which was a top tier deck for most of it's time in standard. A bunch of the Loas were so bad that even Kibler didn't try and build decks around them.
@@mikejunt thank you good sir for the Hearthstone Historiam. Now let me take the stage about how GARBAGE this expansion was. Because the truth is, power creep is fun. When you remove the power creep, we all end up waiting 4 months for a useless boring expansion 🤔
@@scavgril i mean in a perfect world you make new cards that are equal in powerlevel but bring in new interesting features, but thats just not possible to do on a realistic standpoint. :D
Guff just merrily goes "High Five" and delivers one hell of slap that makes the victims head rotate another 360 degrees each time until it falls off...
Rarran, I regret to inform you, but you missed a Loa - Hakkar, the Soulflayer. Luckily there's a class that didn't get a Loa, so you could run the renowned Hakkar DH deck! As a couple people in chant were rooting for it seems, HAKKAR DH HAKKAR DH.
I made a Hakkar priest deck... It's pretty much a meme but could sometimes actually take games out of much more competitive decks. It... Isn't a good deck though
@@ShuckleShellAnemia "Edward, I know you're leveling in Desolace. Don't come to orgrimmar until I tell you it's safe, everyone's dying there" -my dad during Corrupted Blood incident
@@edschramm6757 my brother made me go to ogrimmar during the corrupted blood incident to troll me, which I obviously did because I had no reason not to trust him Some part of me still hasn't forgiven him for that one
@@0_Ember_0 Hi'reek is a warlock card yes, but evolve shaman can evolve minions into any class minions, so evolving a 7 drop would usually give you a big 8 drop, but when hi'reek was added, a lot of players got an 8 mana 1 1
Fantastic content! This has some strange Firebat Deck Doctor vibes mixed with your own fantastic energy. Your growth is so well deserved. Keep up the great work!
Jan'alai was the card that first set me on the path of the deck I still have the most pride in to this day : my Odd Big Spell Elementals. Frost Lich Jaina meant that deck was damn near impossible to chip out (if I find her) since Ragnaros gets lifesteal
really like these challenges, cant wait for the next one - are the Uldum quests next, or was there a specific legendary theme for Rise of Shadows that I am forgetting?
i haven't even finished the video but i just want to say that, after having played castle nathria in world of warcraft, i'm so glad we weren't the only ones who call denathrius "daddy". my guild called him "Daddy D", to be specific.
You should ask people to like the video when you ask them to sub, would prob really boost your channel and push you more in the algorithm. These videos are hilarious and more people should get to see them. They brought me back to regular hearthstone after only playing bgs since its release.
That druid maneuver was really clever. Seeing clever plays like that with interesting interactions between cards is one of my favorite things about Hearthstone.
Next video predictions: - The Impossible Saviors of Uldum Challenge - The Impossible Galakrond Challenge - The Impossible Prime Challenge - The Impossible Old Gods Challenge
I hit legend with my own shirvallah list that used Call to Arms and LOOT HOARDERS. I'm just glad to see other people using her for anything she's so fun.
This was a really good video and I hope the feeling of success was worth it. By the way if you ever do the questlines put brann and Zola in your deck so you can get even bigger dudes
I loved Bwonsamdi back when I played this. I shuffling 1 mana Khart-tut defenders into my deck using spirit of the dead and then drawing all of them with bwonsamdi was hilarious.
How was the hero able to attack multiple times on the ebemy hero during the Gink challenge? (I know it says after you kill an enemy minion you can attack again) but i thought this would just let you attack once more after killing the last enemy minion, no?
What is the next challenge winning games as rise of shadows villains and saviors of uldum heroes for each class or u just going straight for galakrond challenge ?
Loving these challenges man, can tell you put a lot of effort on your editing, just wanted to let you know I notice and appreciate it. Keep up the great content.
surprised you didn't go with the Bolner + Krag'Wa + Bloom + Pen Flinger + Overdraft combo I suggested in a prior stream - it's super easy to pull off in a Spirit of the Frog shell
@@Rarran I just checked the VOD and 6 hours is brutal. Thanks for the effort you put in and sorry if my first comment seemed abit belittling, I just wanted to complain about the solo adventure 🙂
Actually, I believe they were updated for Saviors of Uldum and Descent of Dragon, I remember the Warlock one being a quest deck when I used it a while ago
Commenting Before watching rn and I'll say it's not that difficult except for warrior maybe? Edit1:oh fk forgot hunter lol Edit2: that's one big high five lul 11:55 Edit3: that's the first time for me to see SoTT break game's usually done by first swing Edit4 : damn didn't think of that sword otk And vid ended on a good note, rouge ftw
11:13 You ask people to like your video and subscribe after you said you love Guff? That disgust me! But I subscribed and liked the video anyway, cause I love your content
Small suggestion : you can add an image of every cards you have to win with somewhere on the screen, and put a ❌ on every one you did. That way twitch viewers know which one you did, while us can think of how you could do the remaining ones ! Edit: there is a scam in the anwesers
