I’ve always had love for Kansas considering I started watching college football in the historic 2007 year. I know the remaining schedule is very difficult, but no matter what I’m enthusiastic to see Kansas football have respectability again👍

My (former) best friend went to Kansas for a couple years and I remember last year he kept telling me about how they're gonna be really good soon and their quarterback was the truth and we even recorded a couple podcast episodes where he talked about that and was adamant that they'd be really good when no one believed him. The 2007 Kansas Jayhawks season is one of the best College Football stories ever. It was just special. I’ve never forgotten how exciting it was to have the Jayhawks in serious contention for the National Title. Unbelievable. I might be the only Jayhawks football fan out here in California.

I said in the April Fools video on Kansas that it would've been funny if a bunch of three or four star recruits went to Kansas for the memes and be ranked Top 25. They got 2/3 boxes checked; they got some good recruits, their team has been a meme before the season, and they're on their way to a Top 25 for as long as they keep winning the next couple weeks. This does put a smile on my face.

I’m a KU grad. I realize they are 4-0 and have some very good talent on the team this year... but can we not jump the gun until they have made it at least halfway through conference play. If they win 7 games this year I will be very surprised and if/when they do I’ll eat my words 🤷🏼‍♂️. The sunflower showdown should at least be competitive this year 🤘🏽.

This was not impossible and many consider this to be expected! Your right about Leipold. Kansas fans believe he’s the guy. Kansas has an underrated offense with Daniels, Neal, and Arnold. The defense isn’t bad either and safety Kenny Logan is a projected 1-2nd round draft pick.

No matter how suck our football I am still loyal to Kansas. Hopefully will see a better in the future so we can give a middle finger those who doubts the future of the big 12 football program.

Small correction: Charlie Weiss was fired mid season after losing to Texas in 2014. Clint Bowen was the interim head coach for the rest of that season. With Bowen as the coach, they came very close to having the upset of the year against TCU; who had playoff aspirations.

I remember playing NCAA Football 05 Dynasty with my cousins and we all decided to pick either a 2 or 3 star team in which 15yr old me chose Kansas only because I wanted to try to get the football team on the same level as Kansas basketball team but my dream never came true 🤣🤦‍♂️😂 we played on Heisman which had schools like Southeast Missouri state State playing like a power 5

Transfer portal and NIL deals means team like bama aren’t going to be Able to hog all the talent anymore. Players are now seeing they can go to Kansas start instantly and make a few hundred thousand to a few million versus going to bama and sitting for three years

I know so many people are heaping a ton of praise on the HC, but let me tell you the truth The truth is Jalon Daniels is crazy good at college ball. This reminds me of Johnny Manziel and his effect on TAMU. Lance is a great coach, but you don't turn around Kansas without a ridiculous player at QB. I usually don't judge coaches until they can do something like this without the ridiculous QB factor.

Kansas, like many of the better G5s, is benefiting from the free covid year that’s allowing fringe players that one extra year to gel. P5 powerhouses are on the 3 year cycle of recruiting because they have to be due to NFL draft rules, while the Kansas’ of the world are on a 5 year right now. It is great to see.

As a k State fan I’d root for KU every time unless they play the wildcats, we need them to look good so when we beat them annually, we can say we’ve dominated a good team for so long

I was at Arrowhead for the KU vs. Mizzou game in 2007. If you were there, you can probably remember how cold and miserable that day was for KU fan but it all worked out great for us that year. Best year ever.

What Leipold has done at Kansas is nothing short of incredible! Not just on the field but in recruiting as well! Cannot be easy getting into battles against teams like Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, etc...

Rock Chalk! I’m already so happy with this season. I know they have a shot to win any game if they play well. A bowl game is almost certain and who knows what else could happen if the chips fall just right. Lance has these boys cookin and the teamwork and love for each other is sure to mean good things for the future.

KU isn’t my favorite football team. I can’t deny though, that the way KU football has played through their first 4 games, I was not expecting the Jayhawks to be 4-0. I’m happy for KU football. The direction this program is headed is looking bright. I’m happy for KU’s football fanbase ‘cause it’s been a very long time since their fanbase has anything to cheer about. This team is legit!

It's actually really simple Football pays the bills and traditionally great basketball programs like Kansas North Carolina and Kentucky are realizing they can't float their athletic departments on basketball alone anymore so their using some of their basketball money to invest in developing great football programs in the case of Kansas and North Carolina their not gonna get massive conference TV deals so they need to take the risk before the income difference gets too big because with the BIG10s new TV deal everyone's getting 100mill a year and many people think the SECs deal will be bigger and at that point it's gonna be almost impossible for anyone outside of those conferences to compete especially programs that don't already have a creditable football program The college sports landscape is changing and it's time to adapt or die because if you don't have a football program or belong in the SEC or BIG10 it's over your done ... Watch Duke is about to be the first victim historically great basketball program that can't outbid Michigan and UCLA for players in the NIL market

After years and years of miserable football they will not get respect in the 1st month of the season...beat the Cyclones and things should change. Ranked or not hopefully coach Leipold keeps them focused to reach for more important things come bowl season. Rock Chalk 🏈 !!

The head coaching hires weren’t all meant to work. Mangino and our AD did not get along together, and the AD wanted any reason to get rid of him, and wheb he poked a player, that was all he needed. We had Jim Harbaugh locked up but our AD told him he wasn’t allowed to coach his bowl game, so he didn’t take the KU job. I forgot who it was, but I’m pretty sure Beaty was a purposeful fail hire, because our AD knew he was going to be out pretty soon.

My school might be playing them in a bowl. My school is also on the rise with a sophomore QB only getting better,best defense in years! This Kansas turnaround is remarkable!
