During the Second World War, the French resistance fighters fight and harass the occupier while carefully avoiding frontal conflicts. And yet, there are many battles in which these shadow fighters come out in the open! In the Limousin for example, the maquis is particularly active. When the day of the landing comes, he receives the order to block the road to the Germans who go back to the south of France to help their comrades on the beaches. This is how Georges Guingouin and his men confront German forces and French militiamen in broad daylight during one of the rare battles of French resistance! Focus on the incredible Battle of Mount Gargan!
