Mark my words, Shaquem Griffin is going to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame one day. He has an indomitable spirit because of his challenge that has shaped him into the inspirational spirit he is today.
Tristan Schmit he’s been doubted his entire life bruh this dude made it to the nfl with one hand when he wasn’t even a starter in college until his senior year thought you would know by know to never doubt this man

This video teaches a great lesson. The only thing that can stop you from succeeding is YOU. don’t listen to the critics or the bullies or the doubters. Listen to yourself. If you believe in yourself. You can achieve anything

Bob Freedom - Why do you use the word "thugs" to describe black football players? Is it just a substitution for the n-word? You do realize that the players love their country so much that they protest because they want their country -- the United States of America -- to live up to its ideals as written in the Declaration and the Constitution? It is the epitome of true patriotism to realize your country has flaws and then to bring attention to those flaws by protesting. And these players are fully involved -- time and money -- in working to correct those flaws, by improving their communities, by working with police organizations to provide de-escalation training, by helping schools, by working for equal justice for every person in the U.S. Those who serve in the armed forces swear an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, not the flag and most certainly not the anthem. The flag is a visual representation of the Constitution; it is not important without that context. Hugging the flag is just a circus show of backwards nationalism, meant to delude others and distract them from real patriotism. The NFL players (also MLB and NBA) literally contribute millions of dollars each and every year giving to those who need assistance. Most of the NFL players came from disadvantaged backgrounds, including discrimination, yet still love the U.S. so much that they work so none are disadvantaged in the future. Yet you call-out using a universal sign of respect, kneeling, as bad. As Green Beret Nate Boyer has said: "Soldiers take a knee in front of a fallen brother's grave, you know, to show respect." Are those soldiers also "thugs" in your view? Are those who kneel in prayer also "thugs" in your view? Our country was literally founded on the idea of protest. The revolutionaries protested their treatment and what they viewed as unfair practices by England. Peaceful protest is built into our founding document, the Constitution, and dropping to a knee during the national anthem to spur criminal justice reform (equal justice for all) is more American than what most have ever done. Those who encounter a protest are supposed to feel uncomfortable so that they can, maybe, take another look at what is being protested and also decide a change is needed, to take another step in living up to our country's ideals. Imagine where we'd be today if the founding fathers were blindly loyal to a flag, instead of to a set of ideas. Is the person who claims a serving member of the military is not a hero if they are captured being respectful of those who serve in the armed forces? Is it really permissible to call those who disrespect men and women who have died, served and/or been captured patriotic? Especially if those being disrespectful evaded service due to money?
My late mother had a disabled left hand and suffered immensely from it. But she still spent her life as a full time social worker. People like her and Shaquem prove there is never a never.
Bob Freedom he never disrespected the country. all he wanted to do was play football. i don't know where your anger came from but seems like you've got issues. you're a vet maybe?
Bob Freedom whatever dude but your so called thugs in a dumbass league are heroes in their own communities. you people are the reason why america is divided. conservatives hating liberals and vice-versa. they protest because of stupid power tripping cops and not because they want to disrespect the flag and the country.
Another thing, I respect liberal soldiers who uphold the constitution and not some object..I talked to some and they don't care if those guys kneel. They fight for the constitution..
Even though I’m a soccer player, Shaquem Griffin is definitely one of my idols who inspire me to get better and sign a professional contract eventually
Shaquem Griffin's story is very inspiring. He is a hero and a great role model to those who think they have no hope (when many of them have two full hands and feet). He has beautiful twin brother and parents who raised a great person, Shaquem. He got his great character from his loving dad and beautiful mom.
SJ 69 protest what? I was in the Army for 8 years and work overseas now. Nobody I know Hates or disagrees with Kaep. I kinda stop watching the NFL as much as I use to because of how they treated Kaep.
