I was a young kid, alone at my parents house and watching this episode. I went and got some chewing gum and tried it. It worked! However, the gum went down the wrong way and I almost chocked to death with nobody around. So I guess this is my warning to those thinking about trying this Stupid Human Trick.

As for the guys with the "Dueling Pecks"..... I'd rather see a female doing that but in this country of equality and such, women are still not allowed to take off their shirt and bra on a talk show, but a man is. It's okay to see guts with beards wearing makeup and dresses, but not ok to see something as beautiful and natural as a woman's breasts. What a screwed up country.

It’s magicians thread. Probably attached to the back of her head, over her forehead and into the mouth attached to the gum. The arc of the gum is the give away, she blows it out the mouth and it swings back to her mouth

Magnus effect. She has chewed the gum to be cylindrical, and as she exhales forcefully a backspin is applied to the gum by way of exhalation of air such that it causes the effect seen. And obviously she has spent countless hours perfecting it.

No they don't make shows like this anymore. That would get boring and repetitive. They're making all new shows and breaking new ground in new directions. Dave changed late night TV, but so did Jack Paar and Johnny Carson. James Corden has done something wildly innovative as well, and he's still doing it - for the rest of the season anyway.

I think I was about 10 when I saw this, and it may be the first time I fell in love. Also, I find it fascinating how babes looked older in the 90s. Also never heard a HS student say they're "full-time," but I suppose it may have been possible in Jersey. Needless to say, I have never married.

It's not that women looked older, it's that what the media considered attractive changed. Actually, the younger look was the norm in the 30s and 40s. Then by the 80s the look of many actresses was much different, which is why 80s movies and shows are criticized now of having ugly women, because for some reason Hollywood leaned toward 25 year olds that looked 35-45. Now the younger look is the norm again.

When I do anything, regularly, some people call me old fssioned, etc. In those days were more pleasant, meaningful, more, more fun loving idealisti & tallented, and above else, more trusting. That gum trick idk. I screen recorded this and replayed it back and forth in super slow and still can’t wrap my mind around it. It goes against physics and logic.
