I adore that in marks panicked state he (for the very first and maybe only time) he completely emasculated Jeff and due to his stressed state he couldn't even enjoy the moment of making Jeff feel tiny when usually it's Jeff emasuclating Mark

@@RaferJeffersonIII looool in a funny way yes. When I was young I went camping with school and loved it. And funny this topic came up, I just got back from a camping trip in Wales a few months ago. And it was awesome, I go to the army in June and gonna have alot more opportunities like camping there lol. But what's funnier is that whenever I say I'm going camping or for a run, or army related stuff. I'm called white among black associates 🤣🤣🤣. But yeah, our hobby is not for everyone it seems 😭🤣🤣🤣 I dunno why more people don't like camping

I think jeff was onto something with his amalgamation plan. I'd go a step further, why not add another department into the mix ? Say, Quality Assurance ? To be clear I'm suggesting we integrate 4 departments into one.

It's hilarious writing to make it £530. It's actually more disrespectful than making it £500, like the extra £30 would be what makes the difference to Jez.
I interpreted it as this is the exact amount of cash he had in his wallet, I mean when he gives him the money he literally pulls every bill out, doesn't count it and says ''here, 530 pounds'' Seems pretty clear cut to me. He obviously uses his card 90% of the time so he would have the exact same amount of cash days on end.
That's the thing with Jeff. As much of a dick as he can be in his personal life, he was the one actually trying the hardest to help Mark with Project Zeus, before Mark was completely dismissive of his contributions. Even after that, Jeff was still entirely up for celebrating Mark's success when he was lying about how well it was going. He only drew the line at bailing Mark out when he hadn't done any work of his own.
I can’t remember when, but I heard that the actor who plays Jeff said in an interview or a behind the scenes feature that Jeff doesn’t really dislike Mark, he just thinks Mark is far too uptight and probably would get along with him if he could just loosen up.
Biggest mistake of Jezs life, cost him Big Suze who was way out of his league and tbh an absolute sweetheart. I always look on this show as an examination of how being a shit person will eventually lead to your life being shitty. It makes me sad as there is a lot l like about Mark and Jez but they are just such awful ppl. I hope if they do make a sequel we see that they've realised the error if their ways and ended up happy instead of being the miserable gits they were throughout the show, settled with women they love and content in their lives.
@mark9294 We don't know what's going on in his head unlike Jez and Mark so we can't really judge his moral compass to the same extent. Pretty much all the main characters are terrible people imo.
Happy for a time maybe but absolutely will end up back together even in middle age with any left dreams smashed. It's probably what they ultimately both want
When Johnson offers the £530, Jez should have thought something along the lines of “God, how did he know?”. Also, how much charisma does Alan Johnson have if he gets Big Suz to leave Jez in outrage for being nearly pimped out, only for her to sleep with him after he tried to pay for her sexual favors secondhand, then become his girlfriend, and finally go to a strip club with him.
