Are you able to put together a video of a full correction done outdoors in direct sunlight? I'm sure there is many of us that don't have a garage or carport. I do have a garage but it's not really big enough to move freely around the car, plus it's full of useless shit that I need to get rid of. Great video as always! I have a question though, can I use meguiars ceramic wax as a touch up for CQuartz Uk 3.0, kinda like a substitute for carpro reload?

A couple of things here. 1. At least he was transparent in saying that for the past 12 months the car has been used only as a weekend driver. THAT IS HUGE when doing a "durability" test. 2. What was done during the 18 months? Did you apply ANY kind of topper on this coating during the 18 months? Because if you "top" it with something, its not a fair test for durability. I have found through my experience and of course that will vary by person, but nano coatings are no better for a daily driven car than any good wax or sealant. The only difference is frequency. Wax or sealants will need to be applied more frequently. BUT for a daily driver that just makes more sense. Nano coatings take so much prep time to get the paint ready for application that most people just don't have the time, patience or know how to do it. Also, nano coatings still get swirl marks, etchings from bird bombs and such. People for some reason think a nano coating will bullet proof their car. It won't. Then people say, well its a sacrificial layer. Ok, but you still have to compound your car to fix it either way. A good Carnuba wax or poly amino silicone sealant will also be such sacrificial layer. I did my own 24 month test of a nano coating on 2 different cars, for 24 months using CQuartz UK 3.0 topped with Gliss. After my 24 month test, I found that the nano coating did not hold up to expectations, and had to be constantly topped with something to keep it looking good. Then over time towards the 24 month mark I began to see the nano coating begins to fail, and in parts of the car you see what seems like your clear coat failing but is in essence the nano coating failing. You see this on the plastics like headlights and tail lights as well as panels on the car. That means compounding the car to get it off and starting all over. Lastly the nano coatings to me give a too shiny look when first applied. They almost look like the car is wrapped in plastic wrap or something. Like a toy car look. While other options give a more natural looking glow. Now much of what I said is subjective, but the durability part is not. It is what it is, and nano coatings in my humble opinion do serve their place, but on a daily driven car? Is not one of them. Unless your someone that is proficient in using a D/A polisher and have a paint thickness gunge. Because if you aren't, or don't? You will ruin your factory clear coat over time. Well, just my ten cents. To those curious to what I am using now? I am using Duragloss 105 with Duragloss 106 I apply it every 4 months and use Duragloss Aquawax diluted 50/50 with distilled water as a topper after every car wash. This has showed me just as much durability as the nano coatings and for MUCH MUCH less money and MUCH MUCH less effort for a Daily Driven Car.

Well done!!!! Again. Hey, mate just a question. I have Nova Jet to add to my Concours EVO. What are your suggestions as to using Jet over the EVO and would then use Boost as a follow-up or after each maintenance wash would you just stick with using Boost instead??? I have had the coating on now since November and apart from some nasty water spots caused by the bad dust storm a couple weeks after coating, EVO has protected the car very well. I was tempted at using JET now but wanted to know your thoughts. I will be getting some Boost shortly.

NOVA on my SS failed on the flat surfaces after one year. But it was always outside and never parked under cover. Seems like it is still strong on the lower half of the car with no feeling of contamination. upper surfaces are in need of love though. :)

What is the difference between Nova Pro and NV Evo? I cant find it anywhere and would like to see what the application differences are. I am not certified by anyone so I know I cant purchase it but would like to know still.

Great video as always !! I coated my car a few years back with carpro and now looking to redo with NV EVO. ( 2017 golf r blue and original paint ) The paint is still in good condition so will clean, decon and so forth. In your experience what is the best set up for pad doing a one step with NV FINESSE? Asking as i watched your video of your own car as i was confussed with the all the testing on pads and product. If i dont get the finish i will do a 2 step if needed. Thanks in advance.

I was just wondering , is this the coating you have on the Brera www.waxit.com.au/collections/coatings/products/nv-evo-hybrid-ceramic-coating ? Just wanted confirmation... I am planning to order it to Finland and try it out, we have a bit rough weather here, a lot of rain and snow in winter, also the roads are salted in winter so lets give the coating a try?

i used nano plast polish its nano technology .and I had bird poop that I used a high pressure at coins wash that was faster gone than any Ferrari few days again bird poop I had a hand pump sprayer and it was lose felt like I had a layer above mi paint also easier with drying and it came from australia hoerayyyyyy
