The reason for the hollow chamber by the bowl is because when they make the mold there is too much material there and it won’t cool down properly and will cause warping

Mahalo! So I took out idle jets one of them was clogged went to take out the main nets one of them didn’t want to come out only top portion. Do you think it’ll affect performance? Any idea how to pull it out??
@@omilu7 yes, that main jet is probably plugged to. I would try soaking it with something like WD-40 and cross your fingers and hope it comes out. If not there are a few places that still rebuild IDA's. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
Long story will keep it short. So my idle jets keep getting clogged. Bug is not a daily driver. Running non ethanol gas. Don’t know if gas tank is dirty. Will inspect fuel filter
@@omilu7 are you running a electric fuel pump? Of so you could install a switch to shut off the pump and then you can run the fuel out of the carbs for long term in between drives. Good luck
Thanks for watching 🤠👍 I had my old neighbor drill the third progression holes. His place was set up with a machine shop and garage so I wasn't there to see how he did it.
It's possible the linkage is to tight between the throttle cable and linkage and causing the pump to activate a little. But, when my carbs were doing that it was the throttle shafts.
@@phxfunfly9083 I didn't get mine fixed. I actually sold my real webers and bought a set of no-weber brand new. There are a few places out west like Jay cee, Ron Lummus and Gene Berg who can do it. Plus there is a guy on the east coast in Ohio Who I hear can also rebush Weber's. If you find me on Instagram with the same name as here I can get you his number.
@@phxfunfly9083Gary Berg sells a very inexpensive throttle shaft fix for the leaking there on ida’s. . I installed the kit myself on some brand new carbs a few years ago and no more leaks since.
Sorry I don't speak Spanish, I think you might be asking about changing the accelerator pump. I have never changed one so I unfortunately can't help you.
