I'm an artist and i really agree with david benatar about life, my life itself has been an struggle, sure it has its ups and all but in the end you ask yourself are this ups really worth the long weary road of life? i guess that there are some things that are good in life but they don't make up about the bads it has. Thats why i also love art and this philosophy art can strip down our own hummanity and show sides we never thought off, i picture myself as life in a rainy thundering with a few rainbows but this rainbows can easily shut off in the mist off rain. I think that a lot of people reject anti natalism because its a harsh truth about life, it's just like obscure art if you start feeling it you realize the really bad things about it
