Lovely clean interior! The wright off-road matting is my next purchase, currently the 2.5 lump with no insulation is deafening!!

thanks for this very imformatiive detailed video mate, i watched your work light video and will definitely be stealing that 3 way switch idea. i just bought myself a series 3 two weeks ago and have started to sounded it, im not expecting much reduction but their is definitely a diffrence compared to a bare tinny panel.....

I find the hand throttle useful for low range bumpy stuff, saves your foot bouncing around and the vehicle kangaroo hopping

Never seen a charging like that one before...very neat....nice...pity about the not so pretty bolts holding the instrument panel in...should be screw head chrome... It looks very tide...and no cracks in the dash top. I have a mod that makes the heater much more eficiant...and give a ram air effect so the faster you go the more hot air comes in.

Thank you! Unfortunately I lost the original screws for the dash and was in such a rush to get it back on the road that I used bolts, it’s on the to-do list.

How did you get a low fuel warning light? I didn’t think there was a sensor for it, did you build a custom circuit for it, or is it standard for diesels? Our petrol one never had it.

It think it must be standard on diesels as I did not add it myself. I suppose a diesel running out of fuel is a bigger deal than a petrol with needing to bleed the fuel system of air.

Low fuel warning light? I always wondered what that was! Mine has a mystery switch in the middle of the dash above where your overdrive oil sticker is. There's fog light, interior light, and mystery switch. Maybe the car has an ejector seat...

Haha, I’m sure it was an option extra at some point! I suppose with time, many of these Landies have had switches and lamps added. Thanks for watching!

mine has 2 odd switches in the middle of the dash too, one of them is my ignition on/off so it can run without the key which i find very weird .... the other one i traced back to the glow plugs not quite sure why they've been wired with a switch when the key glows them usually.. ?
