After latifis spin he was about 30s behind the field and the entire section I was sitting in (straight before t11) all went absolutely ballistic when he came by. Got more cheers than max or checo half the time (edit) Also he was literally by himself. We all cheered every time he came by. It was awesome

Matt, did you even watch the first 20 laps of the race? Or did you only pay attention to the top 4? It was non-stop overtaking. Charles and Checo slicing their way through. Vettel duking it out with the Mercs. Gasly, Norris and Bottas were having an absolute overtaking fest. Albon and Tsunoda. George coming back up after he did his penalty. It was crazy.

I saw the US GP live it was an awesome experience! Just got back from Dinner and saw Valterri Bottas at the restaurant and he slipped us a sign postcard! Best day ever racers are very awesome and kind people

The most awesome thing about the battle between Magnussen and Vettel on the last lap was, that they showed it to us. Maybe they learned from Suzuka were the director missed one of the best finishes of all time, just to show us Verstappens on his lonely outlap. -.-

I was there up at Turn 11 during the Strollonso Incident. What the cameras don't quite capture is how much dust and smoke went up in the air, easily 40, 50 feet, a plume. And we thought 5 or more cars were involved. We genuinely thought someone had been T-boned and it'd not just be red flagged but suspended entirely. From our vantage it looked terrifying and violent.

No mention of Charles' epic pass on checo? Move of the year in my book. And as for Fernando....Yet again proves his god-like class.

Its time for redbull to give vettel an honorary race in their rocketship. both championships secured. vettel DESERVES a decent car for once in the last year of his career. Lets face it, we all want him to storm for a win one more time!

i watched this race from Turn 15 and it was amazing to see sebs drive right there it was an outstanding drive by seb and i was heartbroken when he had the long pitstop. im so glad he almost made up for it with the outstanding drive

Alonso's drive in this race reminded me his race in Baku in McLaren. Got punctured wheels on one side, crawled into the pits, and then got to 7th.

Truly a drivers track. The best separated themselves for the rest, and I think the results to 10th place were also the the 10 best drivers, probably in their respective orders or very close.

Not the first time we've seen Alonso get back to the pits on 3 (or less) tyres. The Force is strong in that one.

Did I stay up until 03:30 to watch IBR after this epically amazing US GP? Yes. Will I hate myself tomorrow at work when I can't keep my eyes open? Yes. Was it worth it? Hell yes.

I'm still not sure why Alonso got a penalty after the race, they could have black and orange flagged him during the race.

Such a great race. So many great performances to talk about: Seb, LeClerc, Norris, Alonso, Magnussen. The title battle has been non existent this year but thank god for the aero changes that allowed cars to more easily follow the car in front. We've seen a much closer midfield battle and great racing there this year.

Watching this late cause I was there at the race this weekend. the vibes were amazing and the crowd was going absolutely crazy every time seb came by when he was in the lead

8:55 - The durability of Alpine has literally been Alonso's greatest enemy ALL season while driving his nuts off.. Even during this race there were parts falling off at the end, resulting into a penalty big enough for him to lose ALL his well earned points. Yet an "Alpine is indestructible like 3310" meme praising its durability makes it into the best reactions 🙈
