This is the first podcast where we can actually see Aadars intellect. He finally let go of the 'stupid jokes' gag here.

You guys are by far the highlight of my hours of weekly content consumption!! 😍 Just wanted add some context to the antivax discussion. The autism connection was thought to be associated with adjuvants added to the vaccines for their stability during transport and ability to generate a sustained immune response (like it would in a normal infection) that leads to long term immunity (immune memory). Mercury (a preservative), aluminium (an adjuvant that allows slow release) and egg traces (because thats how they replicate some of the proteins of the vaccine) were all candidates that could cause autism. Mercury they have removed from most vaccines even though it was proven not to (since mercury poisoning from fish etc has cause such a hysteria). Aluminium definitely doesnt cause autism. Most vaccines have an egg free variant for those allergic but it also does not cause autism. The article published in the Lancet has since been unpublished and Wakefield lost his medical license as well. With regards to what exactly is in the vaccine to generate an immune response: Every vaccine is different. Some only have protein markers or outside shell of the virus or bacteria which is often enough to give good immune response. But when it isnt or when it isnt possible, the next step up is to give inactivated/dead viruses or bacteria in the vaccine (i.e. the new polio injection) but when that is also not possible you give live attenuated vaccine (live bacteria but modified to not give actual infection) ie chickenpox MMR etc. the only risk of that one is that sometimes it can turn into a real infection but that too is quite rare. Now you know more than most doctors about vaccines! If anyone tells you otherwise, slap em straight with information!!
