I think honestly where that comes from is because there's still a lot of preserved countryside in Europe, so every time we're shown European good stuff, it's always countryside vestas all colorful with actual animals and crap, which is funny considering that America most of the country is empty and is just filled with forced and deserts with basically animals who are trying to be as bad as Australia.

German “Hamburg steak” made its way over to the US during mass migrations from Europe, and during the world’s fair (like a lot of things, like ice cream cones) Hamburg steak was enjoyed between bread to make it portable for people walking around the festivities. That convention caught on and was later popularized by franchises like In-And-Out burger, and Ted’s in NH where the oldest known American “hamburger” was served on toast.

That “maybe I did, but it’s a nice story” line reminds me of how agreeable German people are.
