Something interesting is the fact that everything around us today in modern time could have always been possible just took so long to figure out, cell phone are amazing but the material and elements have always been available just hadn’t been discovered yet. The same go to the future as well, it’s not like there’s a time limit preventing inventions to be create it’s just a matter of will and creativity.

They defo had the wheel a lot earlier than people say. No way did they build such amazing structures and didn’t make the wheel already.

The first wheels were used s as grinding stones to make meal from the grains and bones and stuff, not for travel.

It probably started as a section of a log. Then people started making it stronger and lighter. India had the wheel way before most people realize. You can see them carved into a lot of their old temples. That is how they moved the large stones. With elephants and giant wheeled platforms. They even made a huge stone carving showing how they did it. Then something happened that wiped out ancient India, and the knowledge was lost.

To further clarify let's keep pretending this invention of a basic geometric shape is better than another basic geometric shape that can go in any direction even to the present day and beyond...

A fine example of degradation of "knowledge" in internet times. only, this sort of cliche narrative isnt true, nor does it actally explain anything. first, wheels were known since the neolithic times. sumerians were only the first civilization with writing that had them, but they were not the ones to invent them, NOR to use them in any economically significant way. secondly, i dont see why man needs to first master agriculture in order to "unlock" wheel. thats part of that metal-horse-plow-wheel fallacy you still learn in school, that you MUST HAVE these 4 factors to build civilization. is both untrue at face value, stinks of public school system and intellectual slovenliness. because guess what, you have numerous civilizations in America which had huge populations and advanced agriculture without use of wheel. even in Old World, civilizations such as sumer and egypt used rivers to transport goods. plus, nowhere in Sumer did i see a freight cart, i see only battle wagons. freight was transported by boat, donkey or by humans. on the other hand, herdsmen nomads needed wheeled vehicles much more ghen farmers would have, before domestication of the horse. thats because they used the wagons to MOVE. which is what nomadic pastoralists do. so that connection between wheel and farming falls flat too, and what we know of history conforms this, from Sea Peoples whose families followed on oxcarts to neolithic ox carts from what is now Armenia.
