Nice vistas! I love the intro looking out an OP window. Love, the nebelwerfers! Big time boom-boom. I'd have to think long and hard about matching this scenario with a counterfactual.
Maus and King Tiger are one of those tank that look impressive on paper, but due to small numbers and poor reliability and allied dominance if the air made little difference in the grand scheme of things.
I agree; but King Tigers on the eastern front were formidable, because the Russians did use air power like the west, and King Tigers were used mainly in defensive positions. Just think; the Russians lost over 90% of all T-34s made.
@@davidtorre7370The IS-2 had been said to be evenly matched with the King Tiger. T-34? They're good only in the early Barbarossa. Still useful for flanking and infantry protection tho
The first and second digit on the turret of a King Tiger should not be higher than three, the third no higher than four. There were exceptions. Their camouflage patterns should have looked like the one applied at the factory; since there is no zimmerit.
The fact i saw many King Tigers agaisnt Sherman Fireflys and IS2s 1944s . I knew those Tanks would struggle alot only agaisnt those King Tigers , because agaisnt Maus , E-75s and E-100 they wouldn't have any chance anyway .
Yeah, because the Maus would, of course, work. Considering that the the Wehrmacht had problems even getting any of their superheavies to a point where they could be used was a problem, WTF chance would they have of getting a Maus/E75/E100 to the point where it could be used, let alone have a chance of maneouving to avoid being hit from the side, the rear or even above. The Maus was never, ever, under any circumstances, going to be a war-winning option. There again, for literally any tank-on-tank engagement in the actual war that actually happened, it was the tank that fired first that won. However, when you have ratios of 15:1 or more, there comes a time when the power of the main armament becomes irrelevant. And in this scenario the video singularly fails to take into account the reload times of multi-part ammunition. One of the reasons why the Firefly wasn't a game-changing tank was its very poor rate of fire; 3 rounds per minute. And that was with a relatively manageable 17lb shell. Try doing that with a much, much bigger 150mm or even 175mm multi-part shell. I'd reckon on a fire rate of eating into the minutes per shot, not shots per minute! That gives your M4 platoon commander about 6 minutes to roll up to the Maus, and knock on the (rear) door. Not even a Maus had a well protected engine bay. (especially as the actual shot-per-kill-ratio was pretty damned woeful, even for an experienced 88 crew, just imagine how wonderfully RUBBISH "green" German Hitler Youth would have been.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Mmmmm. charred Maus, anyone?

I know the IS2s has a chance of killing a King Tiger because they have a giant gun like the 122mm , but the others like Maus , E-75 and E-100s is a big NOPE on trying to kill .
Any Comets and earlier tanks like France and North Africa too? Reading British book on Japanese armour far more effective than I always thought in Burma etc. Sad the JP Colonel so successful had actually been trained by Brits armoured school Sandhurst, he writes about being in love with Britain so much he retired missing arm to hamlet on same Salisbury Plains. Town we retire to was POW both wars, unbelievable number former POWs retired here. Husband must’ve spend 25 + yrs interviewing half of them met at local pool and Legion Hall. Sad watching former enemies together when our schools instead of taking classss to them on Remembrancd Day declared them ‘toxic masculinity’ instead.

Et l'aviation alliés dans tout ca ? De plus ,serait-il tous assez con pour combattre comme ca uniquement avec des unités blindé sans aucune unités aériennes ? Quelque bombardiers limite lourd ,mais bien assez precis ( sachant que l'aviation allemandes n'existaient plus et n'aurait jamais pu intervenir) ,quelque bombes aerienne certaines énormes ,mais bien placés les auraient déjà cloué ou au moins suffisamment endommagé pour les mettre hors de combat🎉😂
What other use did you say the "acclaimed" and touted T-14 had in the attack on Ukraine? Correct 0, and stack your “fame” a little deeper. If Ukraine as a whole received the help it deserves, your “glory for Russia” would be over. Were the previous blows in the neck not enough for you and your “leader”?
