You can also do this with Mirkon if you forgot about him and he dies to the harpies. Just know that whatever weapon you give your spore servant child, you CANNOT get it back. They also patched out being able to throw these spore servants so idk any new way to remove them from the underdark.
This patch was made because of the summons. I still have an old save where i tested most of the tricks that worked, but nowadays this patch exists mainly because of Deva's weapon. His mace is very powerful and has extreme raw damage (1d6 + str + 4d8 radiant), easily breaking the game, so to prevent players from getting this weapon (along with some others that were equipped by some summons), several patches were made... so equipping any summon currently with a weapon is basically giving up on it.
I always use glut to resurrect the priestess. Her shield of faith ability increases my confidence to do encounters earlier. I normally slay the Spider Matriarch and the Flind&gnolls at lvl 4
Necromancy wizard is what I played in my last run and it was extremely underwhelming. It has so little "necromancer" identity beyond having a guaranteed zombie spell at level 6. And it's absolutely insane to me how few necromancy-classed spells are available to a necromancer, and how the subclass lacks any bonuses to the various necromancy-related rolls throughout the game. The subclass doesn't even get the Speak With Dead spell, but the MUSIC class does for some reason.
@BradTheAmerican thanks for that info. Just started a new campaign as necromancer and wanted to fully enjoy that experience. But glad i know now that it's disappointing. Will probably respec into another class or start new.
I tend to reanimate the bulwark just to have a beastly companion but they are always under Gluts control so if he dies, they stay alive but stop moving altogether.
@TheYardninja I visited them in my last playthrough. Somehow got down the shaft without triggering the torchstalk. But on my way back up they instantly exploded and pushed all but 1 of my party members to their death. Wouldve been a hilarious way to end my honour run

As long as you don’t piss off the whole goblin camp you can still get branded, there’s another npc that takes her place after you make her go to her room
It's kinda amusing that you can't kill, but can get a variety of kids killed regardless, but only the good kids, Yenna, Arabella, Mirkon, but NOT MOL!, that evil little shit have more plot armor than shadowheart times a 100 and I hate it.
Anybody try the dragolich warlock mod on ps5 yet its pretty dope? I ask cause it bugged a bit for me but its quite a fun RP as a necromancer dragonborn.

Yeah that one is really good. Personally I really like the uh.. dang I forget what they're called.. hook horrors? Kinda bird like with huge talons. Mfers jump like a 100 ft and it's really strong for surprise round centered combat
